Strange no Hamilton tracks appeared even on Bubbling Under.
I miss the days when there were interesting and varied entries.

^You'll Be Back did managed to debut at #21 in Digital Song Sales. Also, had any of the songs from the soundtrack had enough streaming it could have charted in Streaming. Neither chart has recurrent rules.

I mean, Maroon Five has a collab with Kendrick Lamar so. Adam Levine should never collaborate with any rapper, and he already have a lot of 'em. Wiz, Gym Class Heroes, R. City, Future, Cardi B, to name a few. Also Lil Wayne

He almost pulled off a unusual chart bit As TROLLZ debuted at #1 a month ago & this week YaYa debuted at #99 just missing #100. Also Gooba is #81 ahead of TROLLZ if were lucky all 3 will drop off next week.

Jeez, he was hyped as the biggest comeback story of 2020 so it’ll be interesting if his first 3 songs spend less than 15 weeks combined on the chart lol. Regardless, I still think there was a silver lining from his comeback – the GOOBA/Trollz debacle was probably what pushed Billboard to stop the fraudulent bundling on Hot 100. I’m happy that a big enough circus was finally brewed to stop that mess.

That 83 was when it was around the top 100 on spotify, but now it’s out of the top 200. Also its Youtube is way worse than Gooba or the English and Spanish versions of Gummy Bear combined. The s**t radio and Youtube won’t save it from falling out.

6ix9ine has done a lot for the chart watchers this year, made billboard remove fraudulent bundle numbers, leaked the chart formula. What more can we ask for?

I guess the same how Roddy Ricch, Travis Scott and DaBaby are pop stars?
This list is only a one representation of course, surely Harry Styles and Bad Bunny should be on it.

how is 6ix9ine a pop star if u go and see the website, it clearly states that the artists have all different genres, so it's more on the popularity than the being an actual popstar

^Plus, since it is from Bloomberg, it should be taken with a grain of salt. If it were financial news, that would be a different matter.

I don't think Drake should be the #2 artist of the year by any meassure. He's had two big hits, sure, but he's still experiencing quite a drop from recent highs.
Tbh Lady Gaga shouldn't really be #1 either. Roddy, DaBaby and The Weeknd have outdone her on most metrics. 69 can't even stay top 10 for two weeks either... ?

How exactly is this ranked? Is it a combination of sales and streams, or sales, streams and cultural (social media) popularity? Are finances somehow involved? I don’t understand how Gaga would be #1 in any case, or how Drake would be #2? As for ‘6ix9ine’... I don’t see how his second/third week free-falls on the singles chart contribute to him being a top ten recipient on any list. 🥴

Yet the funny thing is he is the best-selling artist of 2020. And anyways that tweet was based on the past month, and a bunch of random blending and Bloomberg’s personal formula system. It shouldn’t really be taken anymore serious than Rolling Stones charts or whatever other non-Billboard company that pushes charts.

But then how was Drake the #2 artist of the past month? The mixtape dropped fast, the single is done... I need to know what methodology was used there lmao. Not something I personally have against Drake per se. But say it includes social media impressions, then BTS should probably be there.
Drake's streams alone obliterate Gaga as well. It's just a weird chart. Ariana might have two #1 hits this year but neither was a monster hit to put her so comfortably ahead of DaBaby or The Weeknd either.

Based on album sales, Spotify streams, YouTube streams, and Instagram interactions. It's clearly not some chart that is going to get much attention at all. It's from a software/finance company who doesn't have full access to music industry data. If you disagree with it or don't take it seriously (which pretty much most people would) there's no need to follow it. It's not like Billboard is posting it or the music industry is using it as a go-to.

Why do people post charts from bloomberg lmao.
Here is how:
As for Billboard, Artist 100 combines The Hot 100 + Billboard 200 + Social 50 performance. I would assume that is how Artist of The Year is aswell. Anyhow Lady Gaga is not even top 5 she is far from it. #1 should go to either Roddy or The Weeknd, Drake will be top 5 most likely because of strong pressence on BB200 + he had hits on The Hot 100
