I'm so sick of reading about Drake on here every week again and again, he's #24, #38 and #84 on this H100 and that's all I want to hear from him Wait till next week's thread, lmao.

Come and Go sounds like what rap/pop hybrid will be in general in next 6 months. The drop with guitars is hilariously bad but otherwise it flows quite nicely. Kinda reminds me of that one ILOVEMAKONNEN/Lil Peep/Fall Out Boy collab from like 2 years ago. You probably forgot that song existed Peep being ahead of the curve once again

why the huge boost for Party Girl? lil uzi remix The uzi remix came out like a week ago and was underperforming. Why did it suddenly get a massive boost from #89 to #8 today?

Why couldn’t radio have treated Sunflower the way they are treating Circles. 🙁

Why couldn’t radio have treated Sunflower the way they are treating Circles. 🙁 What if i told you Sunflower is gonna start outstreaming Circles in less than a month.
Last week Sunflower had 7.4M ODAS, while Circles had 7.8M ODAS (Rolling Stones Chart - On Demand Audio Streams - YouTube Music)
Yesterday on Spotify US: Sunflower 466,553, Circles 505,810.
Last week Spotify US: Sunflower 3,602,528, Circles 3,638,785.
Sunflower has longevity unlike any other song on streaming platforms, and it is not like Circles is underperforming or something.

Last week Spotify US: Sunflower 3,602,528, Circles 3,638,785. Swae Lee is just way more powerful than Post Malone obviously.

i think being attached to the spiderman franchise will make the song relevant for a long time. and also its a great song

Sunflower is part of the soundtrack for 'Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse' which grossed $375M
It is not like it was part of the MCU Spiderman. Even then the song success would have nothing to do with being part of a huge franchise.
Take a look at The Black Panther songs (the movie grossed $1.3B), or The Lion King (movie grossed $1.7B).

Even though it had an average gross, the movie has a sequel coming up and it will probably do far better. Movies also tend to have more staying power in pop culture than songs do unless the song is so big that one can know the chorus 20 years later.

Especially since it already got over 587M streams only on Spotify US.

Tonight ends the tracking period for sales/streams for the chart for the week ending July 25th, 2020. The new policy regarding bundles begins on August 7th, and will be reflected on the chart for the week ending August 22nd, 2020. That leaves just 3 chart weeks (Aug 1st, Aug 8th, Aug 15th) before the new policy regarding bundles goes into effect.

Wow. HDD REALLY hates Billboard. Well do you blame them? Billboard has had several eras of inaccurate metrics, with the late 90s being one of them when they had that ridiculous rule in place that made songs like “Don’t Speak” unable to chart on the Hot 100. Or their ridiculous metrics from 2001-2005 that only measured airplay and made it nearly impossible for pop songs to go Top 10. Or their ridiculous metrics in the late 2010’s where they counted user generated social media content as part of a song’s success. They’ve f**ked up way too much. HDD is completely right when they said the only spot that counts on Billboard is the #1 spot, and even that seems so cheapened down. They shouldn’t change these rules mid year. I think it’s a horrible idea to get rid of counting bundled music. At the very least they should’ve kept counting it for the Billboard 200 because those fans are really buying that merchandise/music. I’m fine with it being removed from the Hot 100 though. I never understood why they would count Bundles on the Hot 100 when fans are already streaming those songs, or very likely they already bought the digital single prior.

HDD was criticizing bundles a few months ago. They're the definition of contrarians.
