Yeah, the album just isn't made to be spammed at radio hourly. "the 1" would be my choice for CHR, but I wouldn't really say it's gonna smash.

Yeah, the album just isn't made to be spammed at radio hourly. "the 1" would be my choice for CHR, but I wouldn't really say it's gonna smash. I would say it has a nice shot at top 10 on CHR and a good position on the AC radios. I feel like exile and the 1 will be able to keep the momentum from the era alive. I'm not expecting them to be huge smashes, but if they are it would just be the icing on the cake.

Another single push on Pop would be worth it for Folklore,A Remixed version of one of the songs could help any of the songs on radio.

Cardigan sounded like such a fresh change of pace when it came on radio
Tragic but not surprising

Don't remove my stan card or kill me pls but there are no radio smashes on folklore.
I disagree. Exile could easily be a radio smash.

I agree. "the 1" and "exile" could do decently, but I don't see either one smashing. But that's okay, this album era will definitely go down as being more successful/memorable than Lover, which was literally tailor-made for radio.

It may be just me but, I don't think radio would even touch 'Exile'.
I think pushing another single to CHR isn't a bad idea, even if it flops it would be nice to have another visual with this era at least.

If there's another CHR single I'd want august. The 1 has already had strong exposure and it's a bit simplistic so I don't think it would do too much. Exile is good enough and I certainly wouldn't be unhappy to see it be released but August is my favourite of the three and the one that has the strongest 'hook'. It's also timely in its reflective lookback at August . Any of these three would be acceptable options, them along with Cardigan are the only ones I'd really consider pop-worthy on the album. I do vainly hope cardigan can turn around though!

I disagree. Exile could easily be a radio smash. I think it has the same "indie but approachable" element as some songs that smashed in the past, like Somebody That I Used To Know, Take Me To Church etc. If they don't just throw it out there and let it die, I think it could easily go Top 10 - 5. If that's a "smash" I'm not sure, but it's what I've come to expect of female pop singers nowadays lol

The 1 is the best choice for the next single. I don’t think it would smash, but it would do better than any other song off folklore.

I'm not surprised this will be a 15-20 peaker on pop. However, I am surprised that Hot Ac isn't sending it to #1 for weeks unless it turns around now. This seems basically created for Hot Ac and Hot Ac leaning pop stations.

So like... is Ava Max the only song in the #11-20 range that pop radio has any lasting interest in?

I wonder if this will linger around this 15-20 on CHR like Lover did. Not saying I told you so.... But I told you so.

I truly don't get these updates. They look promising in one day and the next they turn to s**t.
The HAC callouts just got released and they are not very good 😔

I heard this for the first time on the radio the other day, it sounded so great! This has managed to return to the #1 spot on my Spotify (based on the last four weeks of plays) and is #4 on my year end

Meanwhile, exile returns to the HAC, lingering between 48-50. It's also charting now on AC at 46.
