Hot AC is really taking to this! I'm happy to see that since I really didn't expect this to have an easy route on any of her core formats. This sound isn't too far off from what I think Hot AC plays, but that's just me. I just hope they won't be too influenced by how it may perform on CHR. |

I'm glad HAC seems to be taking hold of this. I feel like she lost some of her pull there since Reputation.
And I'm confident the 1 needs to be next. That song is just....magical.

I love the new version! It’s so mellow and calming. I’m really hoping this could get her to #1. After reached #2 twice last year, she deserves it, especially with such a unique song.
Wondering what a pop radio remix of this song could sound like.

For once, the radio tracking week is in her favor! "cardigan" had a slow couple of days on radio when it was released and now that we're in the middle of the week it's stabilizing at 2-2.5M daily audience gains! At the same time, the streaming/sales tracking week starts at Friday (obviously) which means she got all those hype streams from fans & listeners in the US. A good deal for Swifty.
Next stop: #1.

i love the new version! it actually might be even better than the original. I wish they had called it "cardigan (going for that number one version)" but its great even with the candle name.

Yeah I prefer the acoustic version. I hope this era easily eclipses the success of Reputation and Lover. The album so deserves it. When do the Hot 100 charts come out?
