I think it will get at least another week in the top 10. It’s still #1 on US Spotify, #4 on US Apple Music, and #1, 3, and 32 on iTunes, and airplay is slowly rising. The new version will also give the song a boost into next week. I don’t see this at the top of the chart for long, but I hope it can linger in the top 10.

So glad the new chart rules are being implemented after this chart week. We won't have to worry about trash minaj stans trying to highjack yet another song to the top on sales alone.

Yes I am aware of this, and I’m not certain it will get another week in the top 10, but I don’t think it’s so unlikely. I think if it stays in the top 10 it will be in the lower half, probably #8-10.

The rule regarding The Hot 100 goes into effect on 7th of August (next Friday). So next chart week (starting tomorrow [chart date 08/15]) can be bundled.

The rule regarding BB200 goes into effect on 9th of October (10 more weeks of bundling -including the week that starts tomorrow).

Chart date 08/22/2020 will be the first "bundle free" Hot 100 & chart week 10/24/2020 will be the first "bundle free" Billboard 200 chart.

In July 2007 (chart dated as August 4), Billboard changed the Hot 100 formula downweighting sales and adding streams from Yahoo and AOL.

That was the first time BB changed the formula since adding digital sales in January 2005 (chart dated as February 12).

I don't know what the sales/airplay ratio was before the formula change, but after that it was airplay ~55%, sales ~40% and streaming ~5%.

Starting with this week's issue, the Billboard Hot 100 takes another step into the 21st century, as, for the first time, streamed and on-demand music becomes part of the chart's formula. For more than a year, Billboard's charts department has worked with Nielsen BDS to add weekly data from Yahoo and AOL to Billboard's franchise chart.

This additional data will not affect the chart as much as the Hot 100 revamp of February 2005, when digital songs that Nielsen SoundScan tracks were added to the formula. Initially, Billboard expects those plays to account for about 5% of the chart's total points.

Meanwhile, this first recalibration since digital sales moved into the chart two years ago makes an adjustment to account for the vigorous growth that digital distribution has experienced in that span.

SoundScan placed the number of digital tracks sold in 2005 at 352.6 million, almost triple the prior year's volume. Track sales grew by 65%, to 582 million, in 2006. Year to date in 2007, digital song downloads stand at 462.1 million through the year's first 29 weeks, up 48% over the same period last year.
