I think both Last Night and Fast Car impact Canadian country radio late, but it's still funny to see them in the teens of the chart right now instead of you know, fighting against each other at the top.

I will try to update the weekly chart in Excel, with my chart video and comments.
June 10, 2023{Comment}40s - Chris Young is the only entry to the chart, replacing Handle On You that went recurrent. - Canadian acts on 40s are still struggling, not surprisingly for Tony Stevens and Jason Blaine, but surprisingly for Tenille Townes and Lindsay Ell, who are usually quick to reach the 20s after entering the chart. Sweet Spot was released after Lindsay departed the label, so it may be lacking the label support that she used to have. 30s - MacKenzie Porter, Luke Bryan, and Jelly Roll are climbing up the chart in a good pace, while Joe Nichols is doomed to be going to recurrent in 3 weeks, as it is also dropped in the US. - Drinkaby is also struggling after experiencing a drop from #22 peak a couple of weeks ago, but it should regain its momentum soon. 20s - High Valley and Madeline Merlo are most likely going to recurrent next week. - Keith Urban is violating the recurrent rule by still staying on the chart after 44 weeks, although the rule states that no song can be below 20s after 30th week on the chart. This is personally my first time seeing a song with 40+ weeks on the chart, so the recurrent rule may be forgotten here. - Two roots artists, Tim and Washboard Union are climbing up in a decent pace. Washboard Union was away for a while, but looks like they are quick to find the connection with radio again. - Fast Car is also climbing with a monstrous speed at#23 on its 4th week. 10s - The Reklaws may be close to be done, while Jade, Tim, and Tyler are still likely to sneak their ways into the top 10. - Last Night is still not as successful as the US, but now that One Thing At A time is at the peak, the radio may increase the airplay of LN in a week or two. 0s - James Barker Band had already sent their next single to the radio for adds, a duet with Dalton Dover, so Meet Your Mama should freefall the chart. - Both Old Dominion and Tyler Hubbard spent good number of weeks at #1, but should start dropping with Jordan Davis and Megan Moroney passing them. - Dallas Smith is waiting for its push week as always, which should happen before Last Night/Fast Car surge, or it would miss the #1 spot. Next Week - Next Thing You Know is likely to take the #1 spot, while Morgan still has another shot. - Two songs at least are going to recurrent, so it would give spots to Josh Ross and potentially Chayce Beckham or Tenille Arts.

June 17, 2023{Comment}Dropout - High Valley had a good and efficient chart run with exactly 20 weeks and the peak of #5. I wonder if they would release another single from the deluxe album, or move on to the next era. My money is on another single before moving on. - Keith Urban had one of the longest chart run of 44 weeks, partially ignoring the recurrent rule. 40s - Lainey Wilson is already entering the chart. This is an early debut for her, as it is only 4 weeks old in the US. I would expect it to peak around its 25th peeks here, if it has the 30 week chart run. After all, Heart Like a Truck scored #1 for 2 weeks in Canada, so she is definitely connecting well in Canada as well. - Another new entry is Trouble by Josh Ross. I was wondering what was delaying their third single, as One A Different Night peaked earlier this year, but looking at their attempt in the US radio, it makes sense. I would expect this song to scratch the top 10 and has a chart run of 20-25 weeks, and move on to the next single, while it would be promoted in the US for about a year. - Sacha and Tony Stevens look like they are not going higher than #45 with their current pace. 30s - Madeline Merlo and Griffen Palmer are bound to be sent to recurrent next week, neither of whom has announced their next single. - Lindsay Ell is finally taking off, while MacKenzie and Meghan are rising in a good pace. Teigen Gayse continues to rise and updating her career peak on the chart every week, which is impressive for an independent artist. 20s - Drinkaby regained its momentum, passing 6 songs, 4 of which are still rising. - Dan + Shay are still rising, but expected to drop soon, given that the promotion ended in the US. - Bailey is another candidate of going recurrent, in a week or two. 10s - The Reklaws reached its peak, as it started losing momentum. The peak of #12 is a little weak for their career, but the song was not radio friendly. - Shane Profitt and Steven Lee Olsen are also nearing its end. Shane went as high as he did in the US chart, and Steven Lee usually dies out around 15s. - Fast Car is almost catching up with Love You Anyway, which had a slow week. Last Night was also slow, allowing Jade Eagleson to pass. - Tyler Hubbard finally dropped out of the top 3, after 9 weeks within the top 3. 0s - Jon Pardi joined the top 10, outpacing his performance in the US, as is the case with Thomas Rhett, who is getting close to the top 5. - Megan Moroney also snuck its way to the top 5, but looking at Jordan Davis ahead, it may be challenging to reach the #1. - One Thing At A Time managed to secure the second week of #1, while Jordan Davis is likely to be taking over the spot next week. Next Week - Next Thing You Know is likely to take the #1 spot. - Two songs at least are going to recurrent, so it would give spots to potentially to Chayce Beckham, Jess Moskaluke, Nate Smith, or Tenille Arts.

Mediabase Adds June 20, 2023 Adds (total) | Artist | Title | 9 (9) | Carly Pearce

{Comment} - For the most added songs, Carly found her early success also in Canada, while Dylan and Russell are getting ready to enter the Canadian chart, as they are getting close to the top 20 in the US. - Jess Moskaluke, JBB, and Nate Smith are getting their early adds, and also about to enter the chart soon. - Teigen Gayse also collected 4 more adds, 24 adds in total, her highest record yet. - Other new adds come from two independent artists, neither of which is expected to chart

June 24, 2023{Comment}0s - Jordan Davis scored his 3rd career #1 in Canada, following Buy Dirt. - It was a push week for Dallas Smith, but only managed to climb up as high as #5, missing #1 again, which is reare for him. This is his first solo song to miss the #1 since One Little Kiss in 2016. - Old Dominion and Cody Johnson are expected to be free falling, in addition to Dallas, so they would be giving some room for new top 10 entries.
10s - With the drop of One Thing At A Time, Last Night is gaining lots of spins, aiming for the top 10 or even top 5 next week. - Fast Car passed Love You Anyway, which is interesting, as for Wallen, the actual single ended up peaking first in Canada, while for Combs, looks like the actual single may be stuck without hitting #1, letting Fast Car climb. - Tim Hicks and Steven Lee Olsen are also still climbing, aiming for the top 10 , while Fast Car may pass them first. - Reklaws and Tyler Hubbard are free falling now, expected to go recurrent within a month or so.
20s - Bailey Zimmerman and JBB are bound to go recurrent within a week or two, as both singers have their newer singles already getting adds. - Dan + Shay are also falling, but may not drop out for a while, as it is still young on the chart due to the late entry, and it needs 8 more weeks before hitting the 20th week mark. - MacKenzie, Washboard, and Tim are climbing in a steady pace, while Brett Kissel has been stuck for a while around the late 20s. He has been missing te top 10 singe Night In the Life in 2021, while before, most of his singles had easy chart runs to the top 10.
30s - Most songs here are still young, and climbing up in a decent pace. Tim McGraw is having a slower climb than other songs, which is a typical case in Canada for him. - Lindsay Ell and Tenille Townes are still having a slow start, which is unusal for them.
40s - Joe Nichols is bound to go recurrent next week. - Nate Smith had an early entry in Canada, as it also just entered the US chart this week. Nate is quite popular among Canadian audience, it seems - Surprised that Brothers Osborne entered the chart with only 5 mediabase adds, before Tenille Arts or JBB
Droppout - Two Canadians are leaving, resulting in the decrease in the number of overall Canadian songs on the chart. - Madeline had a great come back with the new label, the peak of #6 was the highest peak in her career. I would guess that she would release another single from the EP (hopefully I Need A Drink) but she could also move on to the next era, considering that she also had a standalone release of Same Car a few months ago. - High Valley also did great, and brought Alison to her first top 5 hit in Canada. I would guess High Valley to release another single from the Deluxe album, as it is still young.
Next Week - Joe Nichols, Bailey Zimmerman, and JBB are the candidates of going recurrent. - Quite a few potential new entries, from Canadian side, Jess Moskaluke and Tenille Arts are already in Mediabase top 50, so the clock is ticking. JBB's new single should also start rising once Meet Your Mama leaves. - From the US, Carly Pearce, Dylan Scott, and Russell Dicerson had great adds this week, so expected to sneak into the chart soon.

Mediabase Adds June 27, 2023 Adds (total) | Artist | Title | 12 (23) | James Barker Band 🇨🇦
| On The Water f/Dalton Dover
| 9 (14) | Brothers Osborne | Nobody's Nobody | 4 (30) | Bailey Zimmerman | Religiously | 4 (13)
| Jess Moskeluke 🇨🇦 | Heartbreaker | 4 (29) | Justin Moore & Priscilla Block
| You, Me, And Whiskey
| 4 (21) | Kelsea Ballerini | IF YOU GO DOWN | 3 (3) | Lemon Cash 🇨🇦 | Breakup Song | 3 (27) | Luke Bryan | But I Got A Beer In My Hand | 2 (13) | Dean Brody 🇨🇦 | Broke | 2 (13) | Lainey Wilson | Watermelon Moonshine | 1 (11) | Chayce Beckham | 23 | 1 (5) | Chris Janson | All I Need Is You | 1 (1) | Duane Steele 🇨🇦 | Grumpy Old Men | 1 (33) | Hailey Whitters | Everything She Ain't | 1 (1) | Jelly Roll | Save Me (with Lainey Wilson) | 1 (33) | Luke Combs | Fast Car | 1 (34) | MacKenzie Porter 🇨🇦 | Chasing Tornadoes | 1 (32) | Morgan Wallen | Last Night | 1 (4) | The Prairie States 🇨🇦 | Backroad (That 17 Summer) | 1 (3) | Robyn Ottolini 🇨🇦 | Match For My Memory | 1 (32) | Steven Lee Olsen 🇨🇦 | Outta Yours | 1 (10) | Tenille Arts 🇨🇦 | Jealous Of Myself | 1 (33) | Tim & The Glory Boys 🇨🇦 | Take Me Backroad f/High Valley |
{Comment}- For the most added songs, JBB added another 12 adds, and On The Water is expected to be gaining early interest, as Meet Your Mama just started falling. - Brothers Osborne also received a good number of adds, following the week of debuting on the chart. - Jess Moskaluke, Tenille Arts, and Chayce Beckham are all at double digit total adds now, and expected to show up to the chart soon. - New adds include an early add of Save Me, which is expected to show up to Canadian chart a little later, Lemon Cash, who are just signed to Sakamoto Agency and could scratch the bottom of the chart with a few more adds, and Duane Steele, who usually receives 1-2 random adds without charting. - Robyn Ottolini and Prairie States are also collecting 1 add. The radio has been uninterested in Robyn for a while, and doubt this would do much. Prairie States could chart, but definitely not connecting as well as their previous single, which I would guess to be their career best single with the current label (Willing Record).

There is a delay, as I was out of town. Catching up now!
July 1, 2023{Spoiler}{Spoiler}{Comment}
0s Jordan Davis managed to keep his #1 spot for another week. Luke Combs and Morgan Wallen both had big jumps to find their spots in the top 10. Due to the free falling of Cody, OD, and Dallas, Jade Eagleson, Steven Lee, and Tim Hicks are finding or has found its way to the top 10.
10s Mostly occupied by the free falling songs. Expected to be replaced by the songs in 20-25, as all of them are rising in a decent pace. Love You Anyway is still stuck here, I wonder if this would wait for Fast Car to peak and start clibming up, like Last Night did for OTAT.
20s Bailey Zimmerman managed to stay another week, as well as JBB, both of whom have two songs on the chart this week. Reklaws, as well as two names above are expected to hit recurrent next week. Luke Bryan is also climbing up with a decent pace, while Brett Kissel still has not found spark.
30s Meghan Patrick had a great start, but stuck aearly 30s for a while. Tim McGraw is slowly finding its way to the 30s, expected to crack the top 30 before reaching the 20 week recurrent rule Josh Ross is also climbing up with a decent pace, passing Lindsay and Tenille, both of whom continue to struggle.
40s Slow week for Dean Brody, which is unusual, as he usually skyrockets to the top 30. Broke is a meh song, so no complaint here. Also slow week for Kelsea, who tends to do poorly in Canada. Hope this can out peak HEARTFIRST. JBB released another single in a quick pace, fifth single without an album announcement. Also first appearance of Dalton Dover in this chart. Jess Moskaluke also sent the second single from the upcoming unannounced album. I personally preferred the promotional single that was released between Knock Off and Heartbreaker, Not What You Think, which is a bop "While it did not go high up on the chart, Joe Nichols still managed to stick around the chart until the recurrent rule pulled him out this week. Decent come back to the Canadian chart for him, first appearance since 2016.
Next Week Bailey Zimmerman, JBB, and Rekalwas are the candidates for the songs to go recurrent. Tenille Arts are in Mediabase top 50 for two weeks, so it should enter the chart soon. The new singles from The Prairie States, Gord Bamford, and Robyn Ottolini are collecting some adds, but may not be enough to sneak its way to the chart. From the US, Carly Pearce, Dylan Scott, and Russell Dickerson had great adds last week, and Nate Smith is also expected to re-enter the chart soon.

{Comment}- For the most added songs, Lainey Wilson collected 17 adds, meaning almost a half of the reporting stations added her song this week. - Jess Moskaluke and Josh Ross are continuously collecting more adds as they start climbing up the chart. - Nate Haller also got 9 adds with his fifth single from the album. Take My Name has a decent melody and production, but not as great as songs like Ain't Like Me or Lightning In A Bottle. Expected to chart soon. - Owen Riegling got 9 adds, and he is likely to debut on the Canadian chart for the first time with this tune. I did not know that he was a Canadian act back when I heard this song a couple of weeks ago. This is also a solid song, and may grow on me. - Five Roses got 5 adds for their 4th career single from the Deluxe album. While their debut single did well, the second single flopped, and the third one barely scratched the chart. I can see this also struggling to crack the top 40. - Some more adds from the acts that have been quiet, such as Hailey Benedict, Andrew Hyatt, Buck Twenty, and Justin Fancy. I actually think all of these songs to be pretty good. I love Damn You July, and hoping that this can get Hailey back to the chart, as she is a one-hit-wonder, like Emily Reid, for now, after Wanted You To in 2021. Still Somethin' is also a great song, but it is sort of old, so curious to see if 604 is actually promoting it as a single. Justin Fancy and Buck Twenty only experienced entering the chart once, so no high expectations on these two songs. - Dierks Bentley, Warren Zeiders, and Corey Kent also got some early adds.

July 8, 2023{Spoiler}{Spoiler}{Comment}
0s
- Jordan Davis managed to stay at #1 for another week, but since it is losing its momentum, Fast Car is likely to grab the spot next week. - Last Car and Last Night are climbing up with good speed to match its popularity in the other charts.
- Steven Lee Olsen and Jelly Roll are joining the top 10 this week. Jelly Roll has a really good momentum, while SLO may be nearing its end. 10s
- Love You Anyway did climb up the spot, but it did not gain its airplay over the week again, so looks like it would not be gaining momentum at least till Fast Car peaks.
- Tyler Joe Miller seemed to start falling after #9 peak, while Jade Eagleson is still on the younger side on the chart and has a chance to sneak into the top 10 and higher.
20s
- Shanke Profitt, Reklaws, and Cody Johnson are the main candidates of the songs to leave the chart next week.
- Reklaws, as well as two names above are expected to hit recurrent next week.
- Tim McGraw found its way to the top 30 before hitting the 20 week this time. Justin Moore also joined the top 30, which is Priscilla's highest record in Canada. This may crack the top 20, but may not go too far, considering that its push week in the US is nearing.
30s
- Lindsay Ell started rising a little bit, and still has a good chance of cracking the top 30 before hitting the 20 week mark.
- Parmalee keeps getting passed by other songs, and could be sent to the recurrent without hitting the top 30, while there are still more weeks to go. Stil, the momentum does not look good.
40s
- Another slow week for Tenille Townes, in constrast to the other four rising Canadian songs in the early 40s. - Chris Janson made his first appearance on the chart since Done, as Waitin' on 5, Bye Mom, and Keys To The Country flopped in the US and did not even make it to the chart here. - Chayce Beckham made his first appearance in his career. Surprisingly, his debut single with Lindsay Ell did not receive any attention from the Canadian market.
- Carly Pearce made her early appearance on the chart. Expected to have a long chart run in Canada.
- Jason Blaine could go recurrent soon, given that it has been stuck without any additional adds for a few months now. Dropout
- JBB had a successful chart run with Meet Your Mama, another top 3 hit. They have a great momentum, and the following single is already climbing up the chart.
- Surprising at this point that Bailey Zimmerman only spent 1 week at #1, but Rock And A Hard Place also had a good run, and Bailey successfully became a well-connecting US act in Canada, which many successful US males failed to achieve.
- Tony Stevens could return to the chart, but considering that he is from a small lable, and that he did not receive many adds, not much can be expected from the song. Still good for him that he managed to debut on the chart
Next Week
- Reklaws, Shane, Cody, and maybe Jason could go recurrent. - Dylan Scott and Russel Dickerson, as well as the re-entry from Nate Smith are the first ones in line to enter the chart.
- It is odd that Tenille Arts is still failing to chart, considering that she has been on Mediabase top 50 for a couple of weeks now. She should enter the chart soon as well.
- Other Canadian acts, such as Lemon Cash, Five Roses, and especially Nate Haller are also ready to make their appearance on the chart,

Mediabase Adds July 11, 2023 Welp, this was a lot of work lol. Looks like Mediabase added 10-11 new stations to their panel, and the total number of stations has increased to 46-47. One of the new stations is CKYQ-FM, and most of the Quebecois songs (italicized) are added by them. Adds (total) | Artist | Title | 12 (39) | Luke Combs | But I Got A Beer In My Hand | 12 (45) | Steven Lee Olsen 🇨🇦 | Outta Yours | 11 (44) | Hailey Whitters | Everything She Ain't | 11 (36)

{Spoiler}{Spoiler}{Spoiler}{Comment}- Very hard to make comments on these, as there are just way too many songs. Before, songs were able to chart with 8-10 adds, but with this increase, 12-15 adds may be needed for a song to crack the chart. I just hope that the shorter list would be given next week, as this was too time consuming, and bunch of these songs would never chart anyways...

July 15, 2023{Spoiler}{Spoiler}{Comment}
0s Surprisingly, Jordan Davis scored another week of #1, his 4th week on the top. This was longer than MW's achievement, and as long as OD did with Memory Lane. While Thomas Rhett and Jon Pardi are still rising, they would likely to be blocked by MW and Combs, who are almost reaching the #1. Tim Hicks, Steven Lee Olsen, and TJ Miller are still in the top 10, while they might be reaching their peak already. 10s Kane Brown had a big jump from #24 to #16, while Megan started her free falling from #5 to #12. Jade Eagleson and Tim & Glory Boys are slowly approaching the top 10, and could be replacing Tim Hicks, SLO, and TJM once their promotions end, 20s Tyler Hubbard is still getting decent recurrent plays and managed to stick around, while Shane Profitt and Dallas Smith are the main candidates for going recurrent next week. MacKenzie and Brett are getting close to the top 20, the former with a good momentum, while the latter is running on gas. Justin Moore is also speeding up, as it is getting close to the end of the promotion in the US. It could peak around #15 with the current pace. 30s Most songs are doing well, except for Dan & Shay, which is waiting for the recurrent rule to remove themselves. Parmalee is also struggling, and they may not even make it to the top 30, with the current pace and its promotion in the US is nearing its end. 40s Tenille Townes and Lindsay Ell are clearly struggling, and they are expected to move on to the next singles soon. Owen Riegling made its debut to the chart with his debut single Love. It had a decent adds two weeks ago, and if it can keep collecting adds, I can see it being a decent hit, while it could also be the initial spins that could die out soon. As expected, Dylan Scott, Russell Dickerson, and Nate Smith also entered the chart (again). This leaves Dustin Lynch, Jason Aldean, Mitchell Tenpenny, and Ashley McBride for the songs that are in the top 30 of the US airplay chart that are yet to enter this chart. Carly Pearce made her early appearance on the chart. Expected to have a long chart run in Canada. Dropout Cody Johnson had a decent run, and awaiting the next single annoucement, as is the case with the US radio. The Reklaws missed the top 10 for the first time since their debut single, which is a stepdown from their previous single 11 beers, which was a #1 hit. Still, #12 peak is not bad, and Good Ol' Days album could see another single, to my prediction. SACHA definitely lost the momentum with Confident. While We Did was a decent hit, this is her second flop, following Call It Country. This is surprising, as she has Starseed label behind her. She needs another banger like We Did to regain the momentum. Jason Blaine managed to scratch the chart for the first time since 2018. While I cannot see him having another big hit, hope he keeps releasing more music and I can see him scratching the bottom of the chart again. With the dropout of 3 Canadian songs and one Canadian entry, the ratio of Canadian songs has decreased to 36% Next Week Shane and Dallas are likely to be going recurrent following the 20 week rule. Lindsay Ell and Tenille Townes are also at risk, but may manage to stay for several more weeks. Tenille Arts should be entering the chart next week. It is already on Mediabase top 50 for a few weeks, and pretty surprising that it is still not on the chart. From other Canadian acts, Robyn Ottolini and Five Roses started collecting some adds. Since the add panel was pretty congested last week, it is hard to make predictions.

{Spoiler}{Spoiler}{Spoiler}{Spoiler}{Spoiler}{Comment}- Chayce Beckham, Robyn Ottolini, and Shawn Austin are the leader of the add rankings. Robyn Ottolini had very slow start with Match For My Memory, but looks like she is going to be back to the chart after all with this tune. Shawn Austin just dropped an EP, and dropped the single at the same time. Settle For A Drink is definitely the highlight of the EP, so it is a great choice! - Dan + Shay also had a decent start, and this new single is expected to outperform You, which failed to crack the top 20 in Canada. - Aaron Goodvin also got decent adds, waiting for the US release in a month. - Hailey Benedict also got decent adds, and since I love Damn You July, hoping that she can crack the chart. - Assuming that there is no miscalculation, the maximum total adds so far is 48 adds, reflecting this week. This could be the total number of reporting stations...?

July 22, 2023{Spoiler}{Spoiler}{Comment}
0s
Fast Car took over the #1 spot on its 10th week, very fast climbing.
Your Heart Or Mine also managed to sneak into the top 3, although it is running on gas now.
Thomas Rhett and Tim Hicks are starting to drop, while Jelly Roll is the one with the strongest momentum in the top 10. Steven Lee Olsen managed to go as high as #7, which is his second highest peak, about to descend now.
Hailey Whitters scored her first top 10 in a Billboard chart.
10s
Kane Brown has been speeding up and passing all the songs with the strongest momentum.
MacKenzie Porter is also climbing with a decent pace, expected to be an easy top 10 by the end of the summer. Tyler Joe Miller is officially done, the next single is already impacting the radio (Should Know Better).
Tennessee Orange is free falling, one of the candidates to go recurrent soon.
20s
Tyler Hubbard and Old Dominion are getting close to the exit, but still getting decent recurrent plays, unsusprisingly for very successful chart run for both songs.
Josh Ross is the one with the best momentum in 20s. Easily passed another set of 6 songs this week.
Tim McGraw is struggling, he tends to have a slow start in Canada, but if he gets passed by other songs in the next few weeks, the recurrent rule would take him away.
30s
Teigen Gayse had a slow week, and considering the number of addds, her current peak could be around as high as she could get.
Parmalee bounced back this week, and JBB and Jess are also climbing up with the excellent speed.
Dean Brody is definitely having slower climb than usual with Broke. I dislike this song, so no complaint.
40s
Despite the mediocre adds, Owen Riegling is already aiming to sneak out of the 40s, which is more than I expected. Gord Bamford managed to sneak into the chart with minimum adds. Unless he gets more adds, even going above #45 is challenging for him. The team is not promoting his current era as efficiently as Diamonds In A Whiskey Glass era. His previous single One Heartbeat from Heaven also bearely charted with low adds.
Tenille Arts finally charted. Although this shold make it at least to maybe mid 30s, the current add number looks very weak for her. Hope she will move on to Summer Lemon Cash debut on this chart for the first time with their major label debut single. Never heard of this duo, but what a catchy tune! Add number is alright, but hope this song can be successful.
Dropout
Dallas Smith missed #1 for the first time since 2016, if we are talking about his solo single. No new song was dropped since this song, so ready for some new music!
Shane Profitt had an overall decent debut in Canada, almost the same performance as he did in the US, including the peak. With the dropout of 1 Canadian song and 3 Canadian entries, the ratio of Canadian songs has increased back to 40%
Next Week
Gord Bamford could drop anytime, as it has very weak add numbers, could be replaced by Robyn Ottolini or Nate Haller, who have stronger adds. Old Dominion and Tyler Hubbard are also nearing their end, but could stay for a couple of more weeks or so.

Can I ask how do you think of the chart run of Meghan Patrick's Greatest Show on Dirt?
Does it has the potential to enter top 10?
Personally I love this song very much.
Thanks!

{Spoiler}{Spoiler}{Spoiler}{Spoiler}{Spoiler}{Comment}- 2 weeks in a row, Shawn Austin collected 10+ adds, ready to enter the chart. - Jason Blaine collected many adds, despite falling off from the chart a few weeks ago, giving him a chance to come back to the chart. - Among new adds, Stapleton got 5 early adds, and Dustin Lynch finally started getting adds in Canada, about the time, given that it is nearing the top 20 in the US. - Jackson Dean also got the first add, and Genevieve and Shantaia also collected one add, but not sure they can grow from here, as they are without label support. - Hunter Brothers and Aaron Goodvin are also ready to come back to the chart soon. - Tyler Joe Miller is quick to release the following single, (not my fav tbh), so ready to have a quick turnaround, like JBB.

Can I ask how do you think of the chart run of Meghan Patrick's Greatest Show on Dirt? Does it has the potential to enter top 10? Personally I love this song very much. Thanks! So the chart run has been pretty interesting. It had a really good start, debuting at #38. However, it has been stalling in the early 30s for 2 months or so. The add # is not bad (44), and it is still young (week 12 this week), so as long as it can grow more airplays, it still has a change to climb up. If I have to guess, I would guess the peak to be maybe around 20, as even if it manages to climb up, considering that quite a few songs below this song have stronger momentum (JBB, Jess, Chayce etc) that could pass her easily. I also like this song a lot, but maybe it is not radio friendly enough, and it is struggling to grow in # of airplays, even after getting added by most of the stations. I'm not gonna rule out the top 10, but this really needs to speed up in August to achieve that.

- Tenille Townes and Lindsay Ell are flopping - Tenille Arts is still struggling - 21 Canadian songs{Spoiler}{Spoiler}{Spoiler}{Comment}
0s No movement in top 3, it would be interesting to see if Last Night would actually be blocked here. Outta Yours is also losing spins, but managed to sneak into the top 5 due to other falling songs. This is his second top 5, the first one since 2014 with Raised By A Good Time Jade Eagleson and Hailey Whitters are still young enough, so have shots on the top 5, but Kane Brown could pass them easily, given the momentum 10s Love You Anyway and Drinkaby might ee in trouble, as they are not young and lost some spins over the week. T&GB, WBU, and MacKenzie are among the rising Canadians on the teens, and Mackenzie has the strongest momentum, given that it is still young. 20s JBB and Josh are rising with a strong pace, while Brett Kissel is running on gas, getting passed by Tyler Hubbard, who is also losing spins. Tim McGraw bounced back, out of the danger zone. The tour was also announced and he is coming to Vancouver next year. Unlike Tyler, Meghan, Scotty, and OD are bound to go recurrent in a week or two. 30s Teigan and Meghan are kind of slowing dowing in the early 30s, surprisingly for Meghan, as she has good adds and had a great start. Dean Brody had another slow week, and it could be an one-off week, but add is not that great, so this could still flop. Jason Blaine had a surprise come back, reflecting the good chunk of adds that he received last week. 40s Five Roses and Nate Haller debut on the chart. The former derinitely needs more adds to stick around, while Nate is decent when it comes to the adds, so I can see this becoming a decent top 25 hit or so, which is usually the case with him. The new faces, Lemon Cash and Owen Riegling are slowly and steadily collecting adds, but do not have the strongest momentum, like Josh Ross did when he appeared on the chart for the first time. Rooting for Lemon Cash for sure. The end is nearing for Tenille and Lindsey. Unexpected flops for both. Dropout The bottom 3 of the last week got replaced by three new/re-entry songs. Nate Smith should come back, but given the low adds, and some other rising songs, I would not be surprised if Gord never comes back. I was surprised that he managed to even enter the chart. Tenille Arts is also struggling with adds, and this could be a surprise flop for her. Next Week Three songs (Moroney, OD, and Scotty) are the candidates for going recurrent. Nate Smith and Chris Janson could come back anytime, when it comes to the re-entering songs. Robyn Ottolini, Shawn Austin, and even Hailey Benedict could enter the chart from the Canadian scene.

{Spoiler}{Spoiler}{Spoiler}{Spoiler}{Spoiler}{Comment}- Chris Stapleton was the only one to receive 10+ adds, already about to debut on the chart with 15+ total adds. - Shawn Austin must debut on the chart tmrw at the decent spot, already receiving adds from more than half of the stations. - TJM is also getting close to the debut, already receiving 14 adds, while the previous single is still on the chart. - The new singles from Aaron Goodvin and Dan+Shay are also around 13 adds, about the threshold to enter the chart. - Looks like the new singles from The Reklaws and Tim Hicks are starting to impact the radio. The single from Reklaws is the collab with Drake Milligan, sort of reminding me of JBB's strategy to send a song with Dalton Dover. The chart run of Drake on the US chart is similar to that of Dalton as well.

Aug 5, 2023
- Lindsay Ell had a worst career peak of #36 and dropped out - Robyn Ottolini is back to the chart - Highest Canadian Song: Jade Eagleson - Rodeo Queen (#5) - 22 Canadian songs
0s Last Night managed to also become a #1 hit, like it did in literally any other charts. It would be interesting to see how high Hailey can climb, as it is already outpeaking its performance in the US. Jade Eagleson had a nice jump and joined the top 5, 7th top 5 single for him, 5 in a row, out of 9 singles in the career
10s Steven Lee joins the free falling club, looks like his next single will be released on August 25. Cole Swindell is definitely stalling, and so is Washboard Union. Tim & Glory Boys still has a shot for the top 10, but the momentum is not as strong as Josh Ross and MacKenzie
20s Brett Kissel is officially falling, the peak of #22 is underwhelming for him. He had #11, #33, and #22 peaks with the recent 3 singles (Ain't The Same, Watch It, and Never Have I Ever) Meghan Patrick finally gained some traction and had a big jump, after stalling around #30 for a few months. Still had time to sneak into the top 10, considering that many songs are falling. Tyler Hubbard had an impressive plays even after starting to fall. This is his final week due to the recurrent rule, but definitely one of the strongest songs I saw this year.
30s
Teigan continues to stall, and Parmalee and Chris Young also had a slow week. The best performing song on 30s is Chayce Beckham for sure, it has a good pace and could outrun its pace in the US.
40s
Not a big jump or fall in 40s. Robyn Ottolini is back to the chart, and had a strong debut. While it had a very slow start when it comes to the add, this could be a decent hit for her, at least better than Trust Issues, which peaked at #40. Not a fan of this song. Hailey Benedict showed her face for the second time on the chart. She does not have a strong add and label backup, so surprising to see her debut so early. Love this song. Dan+Shay debuted to replace their own song, You. Pretty early debut for them, considering that it is behind from the US chart only by a couple of weeks.
Dropout Scotty had a decent chart run, and peak of #4 was not bad, but had a pretty quick fall after its peak. Still yet to reach #1 in Canada Dan+Shay had another miss in Canada. Steal My Love did not even chart, and I Should Go To Bed only peaked at #26, so this is another failure, following those two. The new single looks promising. Lindsay Ell had her career worst peak of #26. Even her worst before was #25 with Pickup Truck back in 2014. Her lable departure could be the reason, but still shocked.
Next Week
Tyler Hubbard is guaranteed to leave the chart, and Old Dominion and Meghan Moroney are also the strong contenders. Tim Hicks and Tyler Joe could also be replaced by their new singles, which are already getting some, not many, adds. Shawn Austin is guaranteed to enter the chart with 25+ adds (surprising tha the did not show up this week). Other contenders are Everything I Love, Stapleton, and Aaron Goodvin. Nate Smith and Chris Janson could also return any time

Just came here to say i think MacKenzie Porter’s song Chasing Tornadoes should be a multi week smash in both Canada and the US and it will be a disservice to country radio in both countries if that does not happen. Love love love that song! Most definitely among my favorites for the whole year.

- Hailey Whitters is in the top 5 in Canada - Tyler Hubbard remains on the chart after 30+ weeks, ignoring the recurrent rule. - Highest Canadian Song: Jade Eagleson - Rodeo Queen (#7) - 21 Canadian songs{Spoiler}{Spoiler}
0s Last Night managed to stay at #1 for another week, while Need A Favor is getting close to the spot 5 songs are in the free-falling mode in the top 10, so it is a good chance for Canadian songs in the early 10s to sneak its way to the top 10. Like in the US, with the falling of Fast Car, Love You Anyway is rising Hailey Whitters found her way to the top 5, outperforming its peak in the US by a lot. 10s Four Canadian songs are in the early 10s, with Trouble and Chasing Tornadoes with the strongest momentum. Tim & Glory Boys and Washboard Union are definitely older and kind of stalling, but still could find its way to the late top 10. Drinkaby has been stalling at #11 for a while. Definitely a stepdown from his previous single. 20s Tyler Hubbard is still on the chart, despite the recurrent rule that I was aware of (30+ weeks songs would fall when it falls out of the top 20). JBB and Meghan are ready to jump into the top 10, with the former being the one with the strong momentum Old Dominion managed to stay another week, also getting strong spins even after it started to fall. 30s Except for the falling of Teigen, all the songs are rising in the current week, with different momentum. Jess Moskaluke is rising with a decent pace, comparable to her other singles, while Dean Brody is definitely struggling. Owen Riegling is also rising in a good pace, especially considering that he is new and adds are not too good yet. Shawn Austin had a strong debut at #39. It is expected that the song is contniue to grow, given the strong adds that it is getting every week. 40s Brothers Osborne has been stalling for a while, could miss the top 30 with this pace, which was the case with their previous single. Hailey Benedict and Five Roses are close to the bottom of the chart, and they could end up just staying around their, considering the weak adds. Morgan Wallen and Stapleton made their early debut on the chart, not surprisingly. Dropout Tim Hicks had a great come back to the single digit peak hit, the first one since No Truck Song in 2020, which was #1 hit. Talk To Time has one of the best melodies from Tim Megan Moroney had a strong debut in Canada with the peak of #3. I would expect her to keep performing well in Canada Nate Haller should come back to the chart soon, given the decent adds. Next Week Tyler Hubbard should go recurrent, if they notice the recurrent rule Otherwise, Tyler Joe Miller and Brett Kissel are the strong contenders for the songs to leave. Old Dominion could also leave anytime, but given their strong spins, might stay for another week or two. The new single from Reklaws and Tyler Joe Miller are strong contenders to enter the chart, as well as Aaron Goodvin Nate Smith, Chris Janson, and Nate Haller could come back to the chart any time.

- Tenille Townes and Brett Kissel flopped and exited the chart - Tyler Hubbard remains on the chart after 30+ weeks, ignoring the recurrent rule. - Highest Canadian Song: Jade Eagleson - Rodeo Queen (#8) - 22 Canadian songs{Spoiler}{Spoiler}
0s Need A Favor managed to climb up to #1 in the same week as their peak in the US, despite it did not gain in spins. At this point in the top 10, only Kane, Hailey, and Luke (Love You Anyway) are climbing, and other songs had a slow week. This could indicate the quick turnaround of the top 10, but at the same time, many songs in the early 10s also had a slow week, so those songs may start falling together. 10s MacKenzie Porter surprisingly had a slow week, but I still assume that it is not done. Tim & The Glory Boys are likely to be done, while Josh Ross and Bailey Zimmerman keeps climbing with strong momentum Tim McGraw agains is stalling for 2 weeks now. 20s Tyler Hubbard still survived another week, ignoring the recurrent rule. Old Dominion and Morgan Wallen are the strong candidates to go recurrent next week, TJ Miller and SL Olsen are also ready to leave the chart, the former already has a new song on the chart, the latter's new single coming out in a week. Chris Young had a nice jump and finally joined the top 20, after a few weeks of slow climbing. 30s Owen Riegling is climbing with a decent pace, predicted peak around #25 Parmalee and Dean Brody are clearly strulggling, and Teigen seems to have ended her promotion Morgan Wallen and Shawn Austin have the best momentum here, expected to sneak into the top 30 within a couple of weeks, Stapleton also made a nice jump and passed most songs in the 40s, very strong start. 40s Dylan Scott managed to finally climb up to a decent spot, after stalling for a few weeks around #47. Robyn Ottolini is already falling, and Hailey Benedict is also stalling, not surprising, given weak adds for both songs. TJ Miller already made its debut to the chart while the previous single still charting. Not a fan of the song, but strong start. Reklaws made its debut with a new single, first appearance of Drake Milligan on the Canadian chart. Pretty unique sound, so it could be polarizing Hunter Brothers managed to sneak into the chart as well, but given the weak adds and their momentum, #45 peak is my prediction. Dropout Brett Kissel had underwhelming chart run with such a strong jam, surprisingly and unfortunately. Tenille Townes had a huge flop with Home To Me. It is an okay song so hope to see her come back with stronger hits. Dan + Shay temporary exit the chart, but expected to come back soon, Next Week Tyler Hubbard should still go recurrent, if only they reinstate the rule Morgan Wallen and Old Dominion are most likely going recurrent, but there are not so many strong songs in the early 30s, so they could stay for another week. Tyler Joe Miller is also expected to lose spins, now that the label is full on his new single that is already charting. The New singles from Dierks Bentley, Dustin Lynch, and Aaron Goodvin are the strong contenders to enter the chart. Nate Smith, Chris Janson, and Nate Haller could come back to the chart any time.

{Spoiler}{Spoiler}{Spoiler}{Spoiler}{Spoiler}{Comment}- The Reklaws got the most adds, getting added to three quarters of stations after 4 weeks. - Chris Janson also had a strong week, after being quiet for a while, so assuming that it is ready to come back to the chart. - Dierks Bentley managed to get 15+ adds, getting ready to enter the chart. Dustin Lynch is also getting close. - Some interesting new adds include Simon Clow, Brittany Kennell, and Brett Kissell, each got 1 add. Clow and Kennell had never been on the chart, so these could be random adds (Clow used to be known as Kadooh, his stage name, until last month when he switched to his real name). Still not sure San Antone is Kissel's new single; it was newly released as a promo single for West Album from Compass Project. Pretty unique sound for Kissel, so could be a high-risk single choice.

- Hailey Whitters outpeaks its performance in the US, with #2 peak - Highest Canadian Song: Tim & The Glory Boys - Take Me Backroad ft. High Valley - 23 Canadian Songs
{Spoiler}{Spoiler}{Spoiler}
0sNeed A Favor experienced a big drop after hitting #1, and gave up the spot to Kane Brown. Hailey Whitters managed to peak at #2 with her debut single, which is a larger success that what she had in the US. Luke Combs was stalling a few months back, but looks like it is ready to reacdh #1 soon. Jon Pardi managed to gain momentum once again, pretty long chart run. Tim & The Glory Boys managed to outpeak the previous single, highest peaking single for them. Josh Ross also joins the top 10. 10sLainey Wilson made a big jump to the top 15, ready to enter the top 10. MacKenzie Porter regained some momentum, and Bailey Zimmerman is also ready to enter the top 10, while Tim McGraw keeps stalling. 20sParmalee managed to enter the top 25 before hitting the recurrent mark. Jason Blaine returned to the top 30 for the first time since 2017. Kelaes started stalling, which is not unusual for her in Canada. Chayce Beckham still has a good momentum, passing its peak in the US. 30sAll songs went up the chart, including Teigen, who is losing spins. Shawn Austin, Tyler Joe Miller, and Reklaws have very strong momentum, outpacing some US singles. 40sNate Smith and Tenille Townes maanged to come back to the chart, the latter being the temporary Dean Brody keeps struggling, and Lemon Cash and Five Roses are also not doing good. Dierks Bentley made an early debut in Canada. This song entered the US chart only a few weeks ago. Aaron Goodvin finally entered the chart, rather late appearance since its impact. DropoutTyler Hubbard finally left the chart after violating the recurrent rule for 2 weeks. Very strong recurrent plays even after peaking. Old Dominion also left the chart after 30 weeks, again, with strong recurrent plays. Morgan Wallen had an efficient chart run with the minimum of 20 weeks, still peaking at #1 and sending another single immediately after. Tyler Joe Miller is also having a great momentum, after the drop of one single, another one started climbing immediately. Next WeekSteven Lee Olsen and Thomas Rhett are ready to leave the chart in a few weeks. Tenille Townes is also going to drop out again soon, and Five Roses, Hunter Brothers, Lemon Cash, and Robyn Ottolini are also not safe. The New singles Dustin Lynch, Ashley McBryde, and Chris Janson and Nate Haller could come back to the chart any time.

{Spoiler}{Spoiler}{Spoiler}{Spoiler}{Spoiler}{Comment}- Aaron Goodvin got strong adds, finally getting some momentum after a slow start. - Reklaws got already 42 adds after 1 month of impacting. Very promising start. - Kalsey Kulyk might come back to the chart with a decent start upon impact. - The new singles from Cody Johnson and Sam Hunt are getting close to entering the chart, although might require a few more adds. - Interesting adds include the new single from Randall King. I love that song, but I know it was just a random add. New singles from Walker Hayes, Scotty McCreery, and Steven Lee Olsen got some early adds.

- Highest Canadian Song: Tim & The Glory Boys - Take Me Back Road (#5) Career high! - 21 Canadian songs{Spoiler}{Spoiler}
0s Kane Brown managed to keep the #1 spot for another week, but Combs is about to pass. Tim & The Glory Boys reached the career highest #5 with the help of High Valley Jon Pardi reached 40 weeks on the chart, unusually long chart run. 10s Jelly Roll started free falling, expected that Save Me would start collecting adds. Washboard Union is done, and the new song just dropped last Friday, which could be a single. It is a better song than this one, imo. 20s Chris Young is running on gas, like he is in the US. Kelsea, Parmalee, and Jason Blaine are still rising, but since the are on the chart for 15+ weeks, may start stalling soon. Jess Moskaluke is rising with a good pace, and Chayce Beckham is also doing better than in the US.\ SLO and Thomas Rhett are expected to leave the chart soon. 30s Reklaws, TJM, Morgan Wallen, and Stapleton all have great momentum Nate Smith also regained some momentum after re-entering the chart a few weeks ago. Slow week for Carly and Russell, but still have chance to regain the momentum 40s Dean Brody and Teigen Gayse are expected to leave the chart, even before hitting 20 weeks. New single for Teigen was already announced to be Sleeping With Her Robyn, Lemon Cash, and Hailey are still stalling at the bottom of the chart, while Dierks bentley had a good momentum to pass them all. Dropout Tenille Townes left the chart again, no news on new music Five Roses left the chart, but expected to re-enter soon, given that they got some good adds a few weeks ago. Next Week Nate Haller, Chris Janson, and Five Roses could come back to the chart any time Dustin Lynch and Kalsey Kulyk could also sneak into the chart.
