Do you think “Jealous Of Myself” will re-enter? I noticed it has been gaining on the Mediabase chart again but I don’t know as much how the Canada charts work.

Hi, yes, looks like it is re-entering the chart this week at #43 (I am so behind, what I just posted is from the last week). Still, it has received only 13 adds so far per Mediabase, so it definitely needs to collect more adds to climb up the chart further. |

Luke Combs managed to climb up to the #1. It was stalling when Fast Car was climbing, but regained momentum after
Josh Ross had a nice jump to the top 5, three top 5 singles in a row since debut
MacKenzie Porter also snuck its way to the top 10. Both Ross and Porter are still young on the chart, so could go even higher.

Tim & Glory Boys and Hailey Whitters started a free falling
Parmalee, Kelsea, and Meghan Patrick also made some climb, while all of them have okay momentum and could start falling soon, given that they are not young.
20s
Washboard Union and Jade Eagleson are ready to go recurrent within a few weeks, while SLO could leave as early as next week, while it gained some airplays this week.
Shawn Austin and Morgan Wallen are climbing with strong momentum, and Jason Blaine managed to crack the top 25.
30s
Owen Riegling started stalling, reminding me of how Teigen stalled in the early 30s.
Russell Dickerson and Dylan Scott finally had a good week, but still skeptical re how far then can climb, they usually struggle in Canada.
Dierks Bentley is definitely having a great start, better than in the US, which is typical for him.

SLO had a great run with Outta Yours. I relly enjoy this song, so happy with this outcome. The new single Out Here is about to enter the chart.
Dean Brody had his career worst run with his career worst single. He had some good songs on the album, so the follow-up would be a good one.
Teigen Gayse had a career best run. I was okay with this song, but the next single Sleeping With Her is a good tune, so hopefully she can keep the momentum going.
Next Week
Dustin Lynch, Mitchell Tenpenny, and SLO's new single are ready to enter the chart soon.

This is also Josh's first #1 song in jis career Cole Swindell ended up peaking at #4, higher peak than the US. 10sKelsea had a nice jump and becoming more successful than her other singles in Canada, which tend to struggle in Canada. Jon Pardi is ready to go recurrent soon. One of the longest chart runs I have ever seen in Canada. 20sMeghan Patrick went through her push week last week, managed to peak at #15. Jordan Davis is having a strong recurrent play, still hanging on to the chart, like Old Dominion and Tyler Hubbard did. 30sDustin Lynch had a strong debut, finally, not surprisingly, given the adds. Five Roses also cracked the top 40, their second top 40 single, for the first time since their debut in 2021. 40sCody Johnson made a relatively early debut, given that it is also on the younger side on the US chart. Steven Lee Olsen also made an ealry debut, considering that his previous single just left the chart 2 weeks ago. He definitely has a good momentum. They released a new song a few weeks ago, and got one add, could be a good follow-up single, considering the timing. Cool to see Watermelon Moonshine at #1 in Canada and the USA at the same time. How often does that happen CountryLineDancer? Not too rare usually, but these days, it is harder for a song to reach #1 in the US. For instance, Gold, Next Thing You Know, One Thing At A Time, Heart Like A Truck etc only became #1 in Canada, causing some timing difference. Still, we did see some same scenario this year with Bury Me In Georgia, Rock And A Hard Place, Need A Favor, Thought You Should Know etc, so it is still not uncommon. |

Jason Blaine made a huge jump tp the top 10 on its push week, his first top 10 hit since 2015. 10sKane Brown started the free falling as the new single getting more adds Chayce Beckham made a nice jump to the top 20, definitely gaining more traction than in the US 20sAaron Goodvin made another jump to the top 30, definitely a speedy chart run for him than usual Dylan Scott and Russell Dickerson contnue to rise together, and expected to peak around top 15. 30sBrothers Osborne made a big jump and finally entered the early 30s, and I think they have enough time to enter the top 30 before the recurrent rule hits High Valley entered the chart with the lead single from their next era 40sLemon Cash failed to gain traction again even after its re-entry to the chart. Zach Bryan entered the chart, a little earlier than Something In The Orange did. I think this song can connect better than SITO. Jason Aldean managed to enter the chart, but since it is already peaking in the US and it has weak adds, I doubt it would do much from here. Dean Brody released his fourth single from the album. Huge improvement from Broke, and expected to perform better on the chart, given the adds. DropoutCole Swindell had a stronger chart run with Drinkaby than in the US. It was stalling in the 10s, but managed to enter the top 5. Jordan Davis had a strong run with Next Thing You Know. It stayed at #1 for 4 weeks, which is the longest of the year. Also had a great recurrent play after the peak Jade Eagleson had a succesful chart with Rodeo Queen, just in line with the release of the album, and expected to release the follow-up single during the year Luke Combs had an efficient chart run with Fast Car, stayed at #1 for 2 weeks with the minimul chart run. - Chart is restructured to become the top 60 this week. Not sure this is permanent or temporary, but I definitely enjoy the longer chart and it is a good adjustment given the increase in # of Mediabase reporting stations.
- Highest Canadian Song: JBB - On The Water (#7)

Everything I Love climbed up to the #1 while Thinkin' Bout You is still at #14. Similar chart run to OTAT and LN, where the former peaked when the latter is at #15.
Pretty quiet movement in the latter half of the top 10, while Religiously made a big fall to #5, like Need A Favor did back when it peaked.
10s
Jess Moskaluke started falling, while US male occupied the latter half of the 10s. Fast climb by Dustin Lynch and 9 spot jump by Nate Smith being notable.
Jello Roll still gained some airplays this week, coming back to the top 20, while his other single made a debut on the chart.
20s
Dean Brodh and High Valley are both climbing up at a great pace, the former easily outperforming his previous flop with Broke
Five songs falling in the mid 20s, ready to give some room to other songs on the chart soon.
30s
Dallas Smith made a nice jump, already about to enter the 20s next week.
Other songs, too, have strong momentum in the 30s, ready to replace the falling songs on the 20s in a few weeks.
40s
Carly Pearce keeps struggling, and Dierks also started falling as it exited the US chart.
Tyler Hubbard made its debut on the chart, but my guess is that this would not be as successful as Daincin', which was a huge hit in CAN.
Jelly Roll also made its debut with the follow-up single. It is a late debut, considering that it is already in the 10s in the US.
50s
This is the new section, and given the increase in # of reporting stations on Mediabase, it is nice to increase the chart spot as well, so that the chart entrance threshold is also adjusted.
Mitchell Tenpenny is definitely making a late debut in CAN, given that it is pretty old on the US chart. Not sure this can do much here.
Karli June made her first appearance on the chart with Ryan Langdon. Adds are not strong, but it is a decent duet song, so hope it goes up to 40s at least.
Pretty laughable that Aldean is only at #59 when it is #2 in the US.
Dropout
Love You Anyway was stalling in the middle of its chart run when outran by Fast Car, but overall very successful song wit 2 weeks at the top.
Next Week
New single by Luke Combs is ready to enter the chart and Tenille Arts is ready to leave.
I would guess about 10 adds is the threshold to enter the chart now, so Washboard Union, Jason Blaine, and Madeline Merlo are also ready to sneak into the chart.

Just FYI, on the chart you have Tyler Hubbard's new song as "We Got History", and you also have had High Valley's new song as "Thinkin' Bout You" for its whole run so far lol. I just had the weirdest cognitive dissonance when I was looking through to see what songs I need to add to my list for my reviews series!  |

Bury Me In Georgia had a strong run with two weeks at the top. The follow-up is already climbing with a strong pace.
Justin Moore and Pricilla Block peaked at #2, outpeaking its performance in the US. This is the highest peak for PB.
Brothers Osborne once again flopped with Nobody. As is the case with many of their songs, it made an early debut in Canada, but failed to gain momentum.
Jason Aldean completely flopped with a trash song. #49 peak is one of the lowest peaks for a song that got #1 in the US

New singles from Josh Ross, JBB, and even Gord Bamford could enter the chart soon.
