It's in its 45th week at active rock, but at least it's already peaked there. At alternative, it's currently at its highest position yet.

It's pretty generic, but I really like it.

You'd never believe this, but our station has never added this song.

It took quite a long time for WXRK K-Rock NY to add it.

Actually, our station has a segment called "Mix Pix" where they play new music that's usually a couple weeks/months old. So they may have played it, but not have heard it. It took them about 2 months since they originally played it to play Breaking Benjamin regularily, and it took them about 3 to play Jet's new one.

LOL, I remember when this topic was first posted. I thought Cold had made a song called "Crossfade". This is the third different acoustic version I've heard. One of them nearly pushed the song back into the top 50 of my personal chart (from clear off the top 100).

Dear god...It appears it will RE-ENTER THE TOP 10 after it's been on the chart nearly a year!!
10 10 NICKELBACK Because Of You 1164 1233 -69 11 11 FUTURE LEADERS OF THE WORLD Let Me Out 1122 1194 -72 14 12 CROSSFADE Cold 1114 1104 10
it's 30 plays off..and Nickelback and FLOTW are both losing while it's gaining..wow. And with year end charts playing tomorrow it'll probably gain where as these two newer songs won't.

Looks like it continues to gain on both Alt and Active Rock, but I wish it would just die already. I didn't like this one to begin with and instead of growing on me it has had quite the opposite effect.

It's gaining again! +88 and it might rebound back around #11 when it was finally looking to go recurrent after taking over a year in the chart...

How the hell has anyone NOT heard this song till now? That's funny, because here in St.Louis the Hot AC station is just now playing it, and I'm just now hearing how cool the song is, if it is truly that old :o

Funny thing is that Thursday evening, both Crossfade and Breaking Benjamin will be playing an acoustic show up here for K-Rock NY. So I'll get to hear Cold and So Cold at the same time

Maybe the band Cold will join them all on stage and they'll do a Coldplay cover.

I can't think of 2 more faceless bands than Breaking Benjamin and Crossfade. In fact, when glancing over the charts until now, I never even noticed they were 2 separate songs. Does anyone actually buy this crap? This is like Three Days Grace...songs on the radio all time, no one gets the album. This type of music needs to DIE.

The reason that radio plays Crossfade, Breaking Benjamin and Three Days Grace is because its safe music to play.
In the Mars Volta thread, someone said the djs said that The Widow was "different.......really different" as if having a song that didn't sound the same as everything else was an insult to their being.
Stations like that should just say screw it and go active.

Because they added it back in late February or mid-March at the latest. They jumped on it immediately. Granted there was a spell during the late spring when I never heard it, but by mid summer, they had totally picked up on it again.

I'm sorry, but I'm just having trouble understanding why those three bands are "safe". I guess the fact that I like songs from all three is clouding my judgment here. Granted, I suppose on an ideal alternative format none of them would have quite the success they have now, but I'm just glad to see it happen.

I usually only listen to my cds. Only when I turn it on, if some song catches my attention, I will listen to see who its by. A lot of the stuff they play on that station, is just junk. If and when I do listen to the radio, its usually on The River, Y98, or 93.3(KNSX), which plays everything.

So, what is this, the 56th/57th week for "Cold" on Active Rock now?
Which week has it just entered on Alternative? It may just beat the duration chart run for Trapt's "Headstrong" (if it hasn't already)
Sincerely, Noah Eaton

It's already broken the record on acive rock (if Trapt had the record there, I'm not sure if they did), but it's going to have to hang on a few more months to break it at alternative.
