I think it was Taylor Swift's "Red", which debuted at #6 on the Hot 100 dated October 20 2012. She also did it a week prior, when "Begin Again" debuted at #7. Body Like A Back Road? That was a huge pop crossover.

I was going to add Lloyd to the Drake beneficiaries of a top ten and then I looked it up and saw that he benefited from the Lil Wayne charity program for both of his top ten hits, first for "You" in 2006 and then for Bedrock. The more you know.

I was just driving my cousin to college today and shuffled through a lot of radio stations, literally heard I Hope every 10 minutes across multiple stations
Im sure shes a good singer but the processing on that song is unbearable

Is there a list like this for previous years? I doubt it. I think it's something chartdata started this year. You can check, though. I might be wrong.

A sixth top 10 on Bubbling Under for Madonna (not sure about Missy E. off-hand). None of the MX singles bubbled under, so it's something. This mix of "Levitating," though, may not chart at a radio format, unlike some of the other top 10 BU singles: "Jump" was a near-top 20 at AC (and wasn't far off of the top 40 at Hot AC); "Girl Gone Wild" and "Living For Love" cracked the top 40 at pop; and "Crave" was a near-top 10 at AC and top 40 at Hot AC. "Ghosttown" was top 20 at AC and top 40 at Hot AC, though did not appear on the BU chart. "Get Together," like "Jump," was a No. 1 at dance radio, though did not make a dent at any other format.

I'm glad that Hard to Forget is gone from the Hot 100. It is actually not memorable at all. I was hoping Supalonely would manage to survive another week.

If you took a closer look you'd see that Madonna isn't credited on the remix, further extending her drought on the Bubbling Under!

at American Idol alumni still finding more success than The Voice despite much lower ratings now. The Voice is still at 0 successful artists, right? I don't know about AI alumni finding more success than The Voice right now, but overall throughout both shows' histories, yes, American Idol has produced far more successful artists and many household names, while The Voice has produced pretty much zero. A lot of it surely has to do with American Idol being far more popular at its peak than The Voice ever was (the #1 show on television for many years and rabid fan interaction and engagement), so it's not surprising that almost all of AI's stars came from these earlier seasons. It is strange though, because The Voice has definitely been popular as well and there have been many, many contestants over the years who weren't short on talent, so you'd think with all that exposure at least a couple of them would turn into major stars. I guess the show's producers, and then the managers and record labels the contestants are handed over to in turn, just really suck at grooming them into pop stars, and while being a successful reality show contestant doesn't automatically make you a successful recording artist, something about The Voice might especially make this the case. Point in case: there have been other shows even less popular than The Voice that have still managed to produce some pretty big groups/stars, such as Fifth Harmony and One Direction from the X Factor, Susan Boyle from Britain's Got Talent, and some from America's Got Talent, etc.

Not really sure? I had no idea there was so much demand for Morgan Wallen. Really impressive Spotify & AM numbers. TikTok. A girl heard a leak of the song and demanded for Morgan Wallen to release it formally. That TikTok went viral. It got released on Friday and all is history. wow I didn’t know that . It also did surprisingly well on streaming . I should probably listen to it 😂
