Yeah so I was off for a day and may I ask what the f**k has just happened with country music He couldn’t even beat WAP on Day 1, and usually there’s never an increase in streams in Day 2 from artists like Drake, unless it’s something that went viral (like WAP), so it’s not looking likely. I guess he could try to take it on with a digital sales/bundle gimmick, but I don’t think Drake is that hard pressed about getting a #1. I don’t think drake has ever used bundles throughout his entire career. With his success, we see why.

Spotify #1 debuts that increased second day: Drake — PassionfruitDay 1: 2,445,696 Day 2: 2,828,304 Kendrick Lamar — HUMBLE. Laugh Now Cry Later:
Pandora debut - 3,032,008 audio streams (+17,651 programmed streams) YouTube US debut - 5,579,753 video streams
+ WAP is def averaging around 4 million on Apple Music, so it did 4m+ first day there probably. Add in Spotify and that's over 15 million streams first day.

Spotify had the FOURTH highest opening for Laugh Now Cry Later lmao.
YouTube - 5.6m Apple Music - 4m+ Pandora - 3m+ Spotify - 2.6m
Spotify matters so little for Drake's opening numbers for singles compared to the average artist. This has been the trend since 2018 though.

Aren't Youtube numbers always the highest? Then AM for rappers and Spotify third. I think for some country artists Amazon is up there too.

If drakes new song did get 15 million streams on first day, is #1 out of reach?

If drakes new song did get 15 million streams on first day, is #1 out of reach? cardi did 800+ points this week and the #1 debut is on lock..cardi will be #1 again with 450 points next week.drake will debut with around 370-380 points.he can't surpass cardi...cardi has huge points..

If drakes new song did get 15 million streams on first day, is #1 out of reach? Here is wap day 8 vs LNCL day 1 (yesterday) / | WAP | LNCL | YouTube | 6.2
| 5.58 | Spotify | 3 | 2.6 | AM | 4* | 4+ | Pandora | 0.3
| 3 |
*According to a chartmasters article about 'Scorpion', Apple Music & Spotify accounted for more than 96% of total streams in the US. Now Pandora seems to have become more popular or sth, but anyway 'WAP' averaged 4 - 4.5M streams daily the first week on AM. And whatever that number is now, Drake is higher day 1 & 2.
But still the streams are close, and 'WAP' has advantage on radio & sales. So it is goint to be #1.
P.S. iHype. Where do you check Pandora streaming ? found it

Could “7 Summers” be this years “Body Like A Back Road” which was also moving heavy streams in a 2017 Spotify climate?
I hope so. I love the song.

Hope Go Crazy can eventually reach Top 5 in its chart run. It's my favorite summer song ATM, & it gives me so much immediate energy when I hear it on the radio

I'd say Pandora is irrelevant for everyone except Drake.

The YouTube stream u have for Cardi is worldwide and Pandora stream is for 7 days It is the first time i am using Pandora so i am not sure about the second one. About YouTube they are correct. The screenshot i took after day 7 says 57.6M, on the weekly chart it says 56.4M. Most likely the second one is the accurate one. Maybe they are cut at different time zones sothat is why the difference. In the grand scheme it doesn't matter.

Depending how many sales 'WAP' gets LNCL will need 10-15M more streams which i don't know how possible it is. So the Pandora streams were ~300K

Could “7 Summers” be this years “Body Like A Back Road” which was also moving heavy streams in a 2017 Spotify climate? I hope so. I love the song. Based on kworb, that song never hit the spotify t10. And it never hit the Streaming Songs t10.

Wasn’t Rihanna trolling about her album on IG this weekend too? I’m convinced her and Adele are both in cahoots - the way they’re live-streaming eachother, sipping Moet and laughing at all of this! 💀☠️💀
