Could “7 Summers” be this years “Body Like A Back Road” which was also moving heavy streams in a 2017 Spotify climate? I hope so. I love the song. No because 7 Summers is a good song. To you.

I think it's funny that for all the hell Nicki has brought upon the charts, the only year-end presence she has is potentially only on her verse on Tusa and even then it might not make it, and Cardi B's first week on top may be bigger than either of her only weeks on the top with Say So and TROLLZ combined. Trollz was fun the watch. Nicki/6ix9ine vs. the industry... But we all know without Radio and Spoitfy placement, it wasn't going anywhere. Cardi has the general luxury of being added to Today's Top Hits right away, and played once an hour on the radio upon release. She gets the current "it" girl rapper (Smart move), coming off a #1 song with Beyonce... the hype is real. I would like to see Nicki get an organic hit, that's not fan or label fueled. Time will tell. Lol. The only hits Meg has had this year are with Beyoncé and Cardi...That should tell you something. Her records outside of they haven’t really done well streaming and chart wise. They promoted Meg’s last project as an album but when the sales weren’t there started calling it an EP instead. Cardi putting her on WAP is the same as Drake putting Lil Durk on his song. Mostly helped THEM, Cardi and Drake are already established artists. Anything they put out will be consumed regardless. There was a lot of anticipation over Cardi’s return, she could’ve had anyone on this record and it would’ve done well. Cardi has 3 diamond songs waiting to be certified with ILI, GLY, and BY. Trust me, she would’ve been fine. She’s used to this type of publicity: celebrities reposting and showing love, support and criticism both from media pundits and politicians on both sides of the aisle. She had brands using Gang lingo at one point, switching their Cs to Bs. Not sure a Meg song has ever received this type of reception before. This isn’t to hate on Meg because her verse is phenomenal but I’m not about to let this false take slide.

Wasn’t Rihanna trolling about her album on IG this weekend too? I’m convinced her and Adele are both in cahoots - the way they’re live-streaming eachother, sipping Moet and laughing at all of this! 💀☠️💀 They both clearly have no plans of releasing new music anytime soon.

"Heather" by Conan Gray will be the next sad-boy ballad smash hit.

This isn’t to hate on Meg because her verse is phenomenal but I’m not about to let this false take slide. Megs song was a hit b4 Beyonce hopped on it It didn’t hit top 10 before Beyonce. And the remix was streamed so much more compared to the original that Billboard gave her credit, which often doesn’t happen. Just saying, Meg’s solos, her projects, hadn’t really sold as well as people would think given her popularity on social media. To imply Cardi (who did more in a shorter amount of time) would need anyone to get a hit is ludicrous. Especially given that the person in question hasn’t sold as much as her. Cardi’s debut album sold 255,000 units without merch and bundles. This was Cardi’s first song in 10 months and she is listed as number 2 in monthly listeners, without Taki Taki, GLY. I’m just tired of people pushing narratives to disqualify Cardi’s success solely because they don’t like her. It’s literally some new excuse every time she reaches a milestone.

Adele pulling Rihannas now. No, both Rih and Adele are pulling George RR Martin. That man is near to be 10 years without publising a new book when he's been writing since 2011 :'(

so how big of a role do we expect Pandora to play in Certified Lover Boy's debut? If it's his second biggest streaming platform across the board the streaming numbers for the album will be astronomical, possibly close to Scorpion's

DLDT first week on Pandora:D4L 5.4M Pain 1993 3.8M Toosie Slide 500k No other song above 500k. Total streams by service:
Spotify 80.8M YouTube 15.4M *** Pandora 11.3M (4% of DLDT's streams)Others 103.3M *** (Apple Music, Amazon, Tidal, YouTube Music, etc.) *** = estimated numbers My guess is Apple #1, Spotify #2 and YouTube #3. Pandora maybe at #4. EDIT: Btw... Pandora on-demand streams were added to the Hot 100 when Scorpion was released (June 29, 2018).

If it's his second biggest streaming platform across the board the streaming numbers for the album will be astronomical, possibly close to Scorpion's It won't play a huge role for full-lengths, but his singles tend to get big streams on there for the first 1 or 2 weeks. I'm guessing it's because they promote his new singles a lot when they're released. That's the thing with the streaming services, they all go out of their own way to promote Drake in an attempt to get record numbers. This is what happened with the infamous Spotify playlist cover takeover during Scorpion release week. He/his team didn't buy that like some stans would like to pretend. Multiple other artists would've done it also if it was simply obtainable by purchasing. They specifically wanted to outdo Apple Music's first numbers for Scorpion, which they didn't even end up doing. Everything about Scorpion's first-week for streaming services was rushing to the press with the highest numbers. He has 26.5 billion streams on Pandora including features. He has over 10 billion more streams than the next closest artists. So it's the same case as Spotify/Apple, with the service directly taking advantage of a new release by someone who is clearly their biggest revenue stream.

Well sounds like we have a release date for the Circles Gunna remix More like feat Taylor, Beyoncé, Cardi OR feat Drake - two words ‘the echoes’ 52 weeks is perfect. Hopefully all in Top 20. But, wait, can Circles return after Drake bomb if it’s Top 25? Have no clue what BB weird exceptions are in play for 25/52 rule.
