In light of the success of WAP, I feel that Cardi deserves a ton of apologies from a ton of people.

I remember she got a ton of backlash last year; I feel that a combination of her Grammy win, the allegations that came out, her singles underperforming and being bad, and just not liking her "personality" outside of music, so many people just went back on the hate train to call her untalented. Just look at any Hip-Hop video on Youtube about "mainstream artist" - the ones where it's just a collection of clips from music videos with no commentary added - or go to Twitter account mostly talking about hip-hop, there's still a ton of people thinking she's undeserving of her status.

I feel that in a few years time, we're going to look at the hate she received the same way we look at the hate for Taylor now: largely overblown and mostly undeserved. Anyone who's still seriously saying 'Cardi B is one of the worst things in hip-hop' is straight up 🤡
