AM real time 11. Morgan Wallen - 7 summers 13. Drake - Laugh Now Cry Later (feat. Lil Durk) 36. YoungBoy Never Broke Again - Kacey talk You must be using the native AM app because LNCL still hasn't made an appearance on the entire Kworb AM chart. music.apple.com/browse-page/top-charts/songs

Drake single to at least #3. It's really good and so is the MV. Hopefully Miley can be in the top 40, even top 10. Song is really good too.

It should be easy 2nd week for 'WAP'. I don't see 'Laugh Now Cry Latter' getting 50M+ Audio streams.
But then again it is 2020, stranger things have happened. +the video has a lot of meme potential.
LNCL is up to #4 on AM

The Drake single is already online in some sources... won't post yet. It's definitely not lead-single sounding though and won't go #1. This you? On 8/9/2020 at 10:58 PM, iHype. said: WAP is not topping the Hot 100 for awhile. I'd give it three or so weeks max in the best case scenario. It's a shock value hit (Anaconda, Erotica, Dirrty) and those always have bad longevity on charts. Yeah? I still standby it, considering I said that before Drake’s new song was even announced. I’d be shocked if WAP spent awhile at #1.

Drake's song is a bit formulaic, but I still like it, baby.

It feels like there has been a ton of hype surrounding “7 Summers” for a while now. I like it a lot so I am glad to see it performing so well at this point.

Is Morgan Wallen the 2nd biggest country artist after Luke Combs? I like his music a lot so I hope he is! Blake Shelton and Luke Bryan give him a run though.

I need as many people here to agree with me the new Drake song isn't good because everyone seems to think it's good and I don't agree with that at all. Pulse never fails me with the Drake hate. Don't fail me now, please. Haha, it's alright but he seems to just keep releasing the same generic version of the same song over and over again now with diminishing quality and the shtick is getting kind of annoying. I think this could be the start of the decline of Drake, but idk if you'd go that far. This would be reflected though by it's early showings on the charts, with a slow rise to #2 on AM now (yes it's only been less than 24 hours, but that doesn't seem great for someone like Drake), and only #14 on iTunes (whatever that means nowadays).

Oh no Post Malone is making rock music!! He is supposed to be making shallow trap songs! He is not allowed to grow and experiment as an artist! Oh what horror!!!!

No mainstream artist is capable of making good rock music. It's dead for a reason!
Post Malone's attempt at "rock music" will go as well as Ed Sheeran's. It will probably sound like a mix of Imagine Dragons & Nickelback and it will bomb!

He's actually #4 on iTunes, not that it matters. As for the slow rise on Apple Music, when you consider the fact that he's released 21 songs already this year, all to varying degrees of success, it shouldn't be all that surprising, no? In 2018, he kicked off his year with God's Plan, the lead single off his album. This year, the lead single off his album is coming 21 songs later. I never expected a #1 debut or some historic chart slayage. He's pretty much exhausted all the hype he built up going into the year at this point. The best he can hope for with his latest single is that it's somewhat stable in the top 10 after it's debut. As for him releasing the same song over and over again, I vehemently disagree and I don't know why people like saying that when it's so blatantly false. His lastest song sounds nothing like Popstar, which sounds nothing like Greece, which sounds nothing like Twist & Turn, which sounds nothing like All I Need, which sounds nothing like Only You Freestyle. I could keep going, but I'm sure you get the point.

The song has grown on me a bit since I made that comment, but I still don't think it's a great song, especially as the lead single off an album.

Drake has definitely oversaturated himself. He needs to stop dropping random shit (loosies, mixtapes, features, etc.) every 5 minutes.

Drake has definitely oversaturated himself. He needs to stop dropping random s**t (loosies, mixtapes, features, etc.) every 5 minutes. Why tho? Drake shits hits like no tomorrow, he has never taken a formal break before and people still stream the fuck out of his songs no matter what. Obviously his audience doesn't care whether he's over saturated or not.

Post Malone doing Rock music is as hilarious as Travis Scott doing Contemporary R&B.
💀
Good luck to those ‘Rock’ songs that’ll have a sharper beat than any Hip-Hop song and a well-placed Guitar riff for good measure.
