Bish is EATING. I'm sure Scoot the Poot is keeping tabs on the "pov" craze.

Perched at #1. We all know they would come around this era. Ariana just had to sit on her #1s.

She really did outdo herself with this album I think its officially my favorite from her, beating over sweetener
Positions the song honestly might be my favorite single from her now,its challenging One Last Time for that title

I'm super into the album, but "safety net" is one of her most forgettable songs for me. Also not loving "pov" which I know is borderline sacrilegious.
There's something about "west side" that absolutely gets me. LOVE.

The album that never ends... I mean 'THE TORTURED POETS DEPARTMENT: THE ANTHOLOGY' out now!

You know I didn't say it when it was time but I'm surprised she didn't perform at the AMAs. Actually, she is yet to perform any of the songs from the album. I feel like a lot of artists have been doing that in recent years (even before Covid) and I hate it. They probably have their reasons but I miss when artists did random performances (I know some still do but not as many as before). I would be content with at home performances. At least it would be something.

Methinks she is planning something or she's just at that point where she feels like she doesn't have to go out and perform so hard to promote her stuff On a side note I definitely think Abel will bring her out for his Superbowl halftime show to do Love Me Harder + maybe Off The Table

They probably have their reasons but I miss when artists did random performances (I know some still do but not as many as before). I would be content with at home performances. At least it would be something. I think there is some hesitation from artists and their camps when it comes to at-home performances. While fans do wish for these performances, and they could be valuable historical artifacts in the future that document the state of the world right now, I have a feeling many are struggling to figure out how to put on a good (pre-covid standards of good) performance without looking like they are breaking covid-19 health orders. We kind of saw this with Gaga and Ariana's VMA performance, for example, or Billie Eilish's concert event. Music videos are a bit easier to handle, but even those have suffered. I do indeed miss the "random Colbert performance" or "iHeart Radio show performance" days of some of the stars of today. But to be quite earnest, big names like Ariana, Taylor, Gaga and infamously Beyoncé have not really done proper media campaigns in a hot minute—when you're among the biggest names in pop, headlines write themselves. I'm predicting a Sweetener Tour Movie announcement/release soon. Perhaps on the one year anniversary of the final date? Would love to hear Positions tracks live asap as well, but I'm going to assume we're not getting any until we get one.

While I don't think this is as strong as her previous two albums (especially not as strong as TUN), Positions is one of her best songs. While others were making out this era to be a huge bomb, it's definitely been doing well. I was expecting about 650-700K units in the US till the end of the year, and it seems likely that it will get there. The singles seem to be doing well on radio too, which is especially good considering how close together Positions and 69 were released. I think she'll release POV in early January with an MV out around Valentine's Day. I can see it being her version of Halo.

Hey, new user here :) I just wanted to say I think that this is truly an amazing album. Some of the ballads on here (safety net, off the table, pov) feel like a career highlight. The motive collab is so sleek and fun. I adore the strings on love language. The sultry, jazzy feel of "my hair" is addicting and that last chorus was pure talent. West side while short, is such a mood. The snaps on "just like magic" are so calming and ethereal. I also love how playful she is on the album. In six thirty, "What you gon' do when I'm bored and I wanna play video games at 2 AM" . On love language, "Treat it just like Givenchy, it's expensive to taste ain't no need to remind ya, it's AG in your face" . I love the sound that she went with on this album. The only real complaint I have is the singles choice. Positions and 34 + 35 are probably my least favorite songs on the albums which I'm elated with because I love when the album cuts eclipse the singles. I've been waiting for this more mellow rnb sound and it's everything that I could've hoped for and more. For ag7, I'm torn on whether I want her to explore this more or go back to the pure pop sound that dangerous woman had. Regardless of what she chooses to do, I can't wait to see what this era and the future holds in store.
