Yea, i know about that but still, it is low number. He had only 1 album in recent years (that can be used as an excuse), but from 'Changes' only 3 songs had over 1M streams (2 of which were singles before the album dropped). Not looking good at all.

I guess you mean Justin Bieber by himself, because "I Don't Care" (with Ed Sheeran) and "Stuck with U" (with Ariana Grande) both had bigger opening days, and "10,000 Hours" also had a 2M+ day.

He's also had a fairly good track record with his features:

"Despacito Remix" peaked with 2.1M in the US, "I'm the One" peaked with 2.4M. Even his Bloodpop collab "Friends" and David Guetta collab "2U" opened with more than 1M streams.

But it is truly surprising that he hasn't had bigger numbers. Purpose era came right at the time when YouTube started to die down and Spotify began to pick up steam, so it has great numbers on YouTube and 3 songs with a billion streams on Spotify, but their daily peaks were fairly low.

He was super generous at one point giving credits to Guetta and others (BloodPop, Diplo). He sang those tracks after all.

that was his off season. he had been jumping on random songs up until "Yummy" kicked off his new era. "No Brainer" is HORRID and would not have hit Top 10 without Justin's name attached, for instance. it's a no-risk way to keep his name out there, since if any of them flopped, he could quickly disown the song and pretend it didn't exist lol

It does look like the new Dynamite remixes did that well in the iTunes. Only one of them remains in the top 10 of iTunes. So it will be up to website sales to pad the song's sales numbers.

kimberly  Enigma.  Yes, those are without features. 'Stuck with U' where he is co-lead is credited to Ariana Grande. [Stuck with U (with Justin Bieber)]. I just filtered by artist JB.

He only had 1 album since streaming became really big on Spotify. But as i said only 3 songs from 'Changes' had 1M+, 2 of which are songs released before the album dropped. For an artist of his caliber it is bad. But then again the album was an underperformance, so it all falls in line.

^Not surprising the deal got approved by the US government since Trump and Larry Ellison are friends. As I mentioned earlier, both Oracle and Walmart will have stakes. TikTok Global will be based on the US and will have an IPO. The Chinese government needs to sign off on the deal before next Sunday or the ban that was supposed to go into effect, today would do so then.
