Mood has now gone to number one in Australia, New Zealand, Canada, and the UK, as well as the Netherlands, Sweden, Switzerland, Slovakia, Ireland, Hungary, Denmark, Czech Republic, and Austria. Everywhere but the US
That's the second rap song this year after ROCKSTAR to go to number one in different countries before topping the Hot 100. Really hope Mood actually reaches the top spot.

I doubt YT has the power of Beyoncé or Cardi B though. Ya, but Megan I think may be powerful enough or close enough to get a number 1 on a normal week post WAP. I think BL's radio record is unbeatable at this point. Without that pandemic I highly doubt it breaks the record. For this record to fall, the world needs a large period of instability to the point where radio stagnates (more than it already does)

As exhausting as it might be to see radio (especially the top 10) so stagnant, at least the song that's breaking all records is nearly unanimously beloved, and not boring and inoffensive radio filler.

That's subjective. I don't dislike it, but it's inoffensive radio filler for me and I change the channel unless the other stations are more boring.

Yeah, even though I really like the song, this is just too much. It's absurd that a song can be #1 at radio for nearly half a year. I don't listen to radio too much anymore, but I can imagine anyone who listens especially to Top 40 and Hot AC a lot, it must be kind of torturous at this point?

Another problem is that Billboard is giving a lot of advantages to radio-driven songs since the lockdown. It explains why there is so much stagnation occurring on the charts right now. What doesn't make sense about it is the fact that the radio audience declined. Cars are a predominant factor on why people are continuing to listen to the radio and there are less people driving to work or school.
