Love Sick Girls is a song from the new album released on Oct 2nd. It is the possible next single. Many sources are saying that this is the title track and the music video will be released on Friday Oct 2nd.

Still doesn't make sense. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ Title track indicates that the album has the same name (i.e. Butterfly by Mariah, Born This Way by Gaga, etc. etc.) The album is called...The Album, so unless that changes, Lovesick Girls cannot be the title track. Albie or wavey., can you fix this? Thanks!

Things work differently in kpop. They usually only have a single release with each album and they call it the title track. 
I agree that it doesn't make any sense tho.

SN: It's also weird how every time a new song comes out, it's called a "comeback". I'm like...comeback from what? You just had an album out last year. BLACKPINK is really my entree into KPOP though and I think that's how I am going to keep it. I was reading that the album is only 8 songs but yet, they charge all this money for elaborate packaging. As much as I stan BLACKPINK, I am not paying $25 for a book and an EP lol.

Well, welcome to K-Pop lol. K-Pop albums usually contain less tracks than their Western counterparts but the packaging is top-notch and always comes with something extra. I own 4 K-Pop albums and they all look BOMBBBBBB!!!!!!!!!!! They're indeed quite expensive though, usually around $20-30. Here's some pics (from Google):

I guess I should be grateful for Apple Music then! I don't listen to artists to be an art collector. I have plenty of coffee table books. I want a full, immersive listening experience.

To be honest, this is a thing that has been more implemented in the west now when artists have super big fanbases (e.g Taylor's Lover with parts of her diaries)

You mean, artists in the West that give us full ass albums, not 20-ish minute EPs masquerading as albums that cost almost 30 bucks? I think I paid 17 bucks for the Target exclusive of Lover and close to 20 for reputation. Hell, Beyonce's self-titled was 20 with the visual album attached. KPop is just a different world with rabid stans.

Honestly I want my Western faves to adopt this method (maybe only for limited editions, without compromising the music itself of course). It's great for the stans. Cause at the end of the day, I personally would still use Spotify to stream music, I just buy CDs only for them to look pretty on my shelf.

Love To Hate Me and You Never Know are awesome too. Jisoo and Rose's vocals are amazing on these songs.

K-pop promo is weird since they usually bring the best single to coincide with the album release (it's just how K-pop works - even releasing multiple singles from an album is not super common; and in the case that they do, the ones that get released before an album drops is called a "pre-release" and deemed as less important than the single that drops when the album does) so I think this was the right move. Besides, "How You Like That" was massive in South Korea.
