This album is much more energetic and polished than I was expecting. Such a refreshing album from her. I've only spun it in its entirety a couple times, but I love what I hear. I will listen more this weekend. "When You Loved Me" is just stunning. It's like "Amen" meets Spirit.

Yeah, Spirit is a classic. It has some real gems there.

Another NEW SONG! I love this so much, it's such a great sound for Jewel! It's supposed to be a bonus track to FW, maybe futures editions and vynil.

she sounded amazing for intuition!

She didn’t sound bad or anything during alibis, but it’s more of a talking fast paced quick pop song than something she can flex her vocals on.

Loving her style this era too.

Did anyone see her Instagram reel of her in her mirror describing her pride outfit? It was like a white jumpsuit with rainbow Alaskan eagles on it. She sounded drunk and it was one of the funniest things I’ve ever seen. I showed all my friends and they were like I think we stan Jewel now! Lol!

One of my least favorite Jewel albums, but I LOVE Deep Water, the single version of Jupiter, and Absence of Fear. I'm definitely interested in the bonus material though. If only she included it on the vinyl.

First 5 songs are just monumentally good.

Spirit has some of my favourite songs by Jewel (“Do You” being maybe top 3 all time) but I find the album overall too tame and smooth and sometimes borderline preachy or something. But these anniversary editions she’s been doing are great. I hope This Way gets the same treatment!
