At40 needs to stop letting songs fall of while they're still rising, like with July back in July lol

 Observations

1.Not only are at40 songs getting shorter this week (two hours and nine minutes according to i-tunes) but so are song titles; this week about a third of the titles are "one word" titles. Furthermore all six on the verge/breakouts are "one word" titles as well as this weeks debut and re entry!

2. Holy was followed by St Jhn this week.

3. #39 +40 have a combined 104 weeks logged in that's a year average and wouldn't be shocked if they make it 104 next week.

4. Surprised to see Heather possibly hitting the top 40 when "maniac" Gray's song from earlier this year, was a lot more top 40 friendly song and sputtered.

Good observation! I remember Ryan doing a story on one-word titles in late 2013. It might have been when “Demons” hit #1.

That has to be an error of Jason Derulo being the 5th artist to have 3 decade number 1’s. Madonna had music in 2000 so she has to be one

“Music” only peaked at #2 in Radio & Records, which is AT40’s main source of chart data.

Jason Derulo barely makes the cut: his first big hit, “Whatcha Say”, reached #1 on AT40 in December 2009, where it was literally the last #1 of that decade.
