#1 in France for a second week and #1 in Belgium for it's 6th week I don't know where you got this information, but "Fever" didn't spend a second week atop in France. I mean, it fell to #2 this week instead. However, I assume you probably confused the main singles chart with the radio chart because it's at #1 there. I don't know if it's for a second week though. Regarding Belgium, it's divided in Flanders and Wallonia. The track spends their fifth non-consecutive week atop in the former and their seventh week in a row atop in the latter. sorry i must have been looking at the radio chart

an earlier/demo version of the track was leaked. it features songwriter Julia Michaels (who opens the song and is on the hook as well), and a different Dua Lipa verse:
Every time you're close, I get out of breath Wondering, wondering, wondering what'll happen next, oh Is it my imagination, my heartbeat racing Feeling it, feeling it, feeling it, feel it in my chest
safe to say they improved the track later.

They probably reworked it when Angele came on board and her popularity on the markets where this was a single was probably the main reason it got released at all.
These Future Nostalgia sessions really left a lot on the cutting floor. Julia Michaels and Normani are not nobodies.

an earlier/demo version of the track was leaked. it features songwriter Julia Michaels (who opens the song and is on the hook as well), and a different Dua Lipa verse If you listened to what I did, which is most likely, it's actually an edit of both demo versions recorded by them separately. A less than a minute version of Julia's demo (probably recorded before Dua came into the session) and Dua's solo version (before Angèle jumped on it) are out there, but I agree with you that the final cut is the best one. Dua's second verse is cute, but Angèle's is better and I think that she's the one who makes the song, especially with that refrain, aside the fact that I'm sucker for English and French bilingual songs as I previously mentioned of course.

...so it’s the #1 longest running chart topper there? No. It matches with "Hello" by Adele, but it should be considered that the track's chart run was consecutive there.
