Well at least Hawai will crack the Top 40 as it deserves. Hope this is not another Con Calma though, and the Weeknd gets taken off (or isn't creditted). Also I hope Dakiti doesn't need an Englihs remix to crack the Top 40 and remains a purely Spanish reggaeton cut throughout it's entire run

Actually I think there will be less overall streams for christmas music as it is often used as background music for public festivities and christmas-related parties which won't happen this year we've already discussed this a little in the 11/7 (?) thread but to me, it feels like more individual devices/accounts will be blasting Christmas music than ever-before, since all Christmas gatherings will need to be limited to households/small groups. we'll see what the data ends up looking like but if Nov 1 data is any indication, "All I Want For Christmas Is You" should be headed straight to the top of the charts. it was #115 in the US on that day last year, compared to #63 this year. that being said, I'm not sure if it'll actually break the daily streaming record again. streams are looking pathetic rn (Mariah would have been #75 this year with last year's number of streams). |
