It's not that deep with Billie. Personally, I like it, but I have a feeling I’ve heard the song like 200 times. don't think it's bad that people want something different from her, especially when we know how talented she is. I personally think she’ll surprise us with her new album. I’m not sure if “My Future/Therefore I Am” are genuine singles leading to her new album, or just standalone’s (from the “WWFA...” sessions) that she’s gifting the fans with and her true lead single will be released sometime next year. |

^Her "poppy" songs are never indicative of her albums anyway. Like even though it's not a lead single despite it being her most popular song, I would say 'bad guy' is not indicative of WWAFA, WDWG or any of her other songs.
I think 'Therefore I Am' is the lead single because it has a similar tone to 'bad guy' where she's playing a "bad girl"

Funny how people claimed she’d be a fad of 2019 yet every song she’s released after WWAFA has not only been able to enter the Top 10 but higher each time (EIW #8, my future #6, and TIA #2) lol. This is great for Billie. Hopefully it can beat predictions and go #1. no time to die |

I highly doubt the current administration will be able to competently ban TikTok though with a new administration looming, do you think they'll allow TikTok data mining to continue or do you think we''ll just see TikTok be more transparent going forward the same way Facebook did? |

Looking at the thread for 'Therefore I Am', I'm starting to think Pulse just really hates Billie for no reason and doesn't want her to succeed They know she’s prob got a whole decade to look forward to with success and achievements and pulse doesn’t wanna see her winning but will end up with way more income and accolades than any of us combined |

I really enjoyed her EP Don't Smile At Me, because it had a variety of sounds and was a well-paced project. her debut album was disappointing for me, aside from a couple songs, the project wasn't my cup of tea. everything else she released after the album has been boring, too, especially "my future." her new song is fine, but it sounds like an album leftover with some of the most uninspired lyrics of her career thus far. Billie has a big, loyal fanbase and she is clearly a streaming force, so I don't think she's going away anytime soon. let's see how this one performs in the coming weeks. hopefully can hold up better than "my future." |

Safe to say there will be no #1 debuts this week, which is nice lol.
I think Billie's song will have a similar run to "everything i wanted", where it debuts high, drops down, but comes back up later on thanks to radio. Not the most exciting release of her career but better than the last single.

For example, Truth Hurts (2017) and Good As Hell (2016) never charted on the Hot 100 and they only entered the chart when they had enough points to enter the top 50 last year. |
