Save your tears, boo. It ain't that deep! who said it's deep I'm just sending my thoughts & prayers & good vibes to y'all that's all I guess save your condolences, thoughts, and prayers, then? I will say my feelings are really wrapped around the fact that In Your Eyes is far superior and was not pimped as hard, but I don't DISLIKE the song. I just don't feel that Ariana tilts the scale any more towards the like side.

Is this a record for lowest audience for a pop radio #1?

Is this a record for lowest audience for a pop radio #1? nnn, did Tate McRae just barely (off by one week) miss the record for "lowest audience for a Mediabase pop radio #1"? It would have been a good addition to her "lowest Hot 100 peak for a Mediabase pop radio #1" record (tied with Falling) π€

Damn! I love the remix so much! Makes the song so much more fresher for now. I love Ariana's vocal tone her and how their voices match with The Weeknd. More collaborations from them, please!

Would be Max Martins 24th Billboard Hot 100 #1 hit, if indeed it happens.

Iβm surprised by the muted response on Apple Music so far. Even without the Moneybagg bomb it wouldnβt be top 10.

Would be Max Martins 24th Billboard Hot 100 #1 hit, if indeed it happens. I didnβt notice that this was a Max Martin song. This would be Ariβs first #1 song with Max then! It would definitely be appropriate for everyone then. Ari βbroughtβ Max to Abel through LMH and that convinced him to do more commercial stuff. Abel gets Ari another #1. And Max finally gets a #1 with Ari after so many close ones.

Hmm. Thatβd be 4 Hot 100 #1βs (1 solo, 2 collabs, 1 feature) in 12 months for Ari right? I believe thatβs a record, right? Rihanna had 4 Hot 100 #1βs in 2010: - Rude Boy - Love The Way You Lie - Whatβs My Name - Only Girl (In The World) If weβre talking a 1 year span, one could argue Rihanna has 5: April 24, 2010 - Rude Boyβs final week at #1 April 30, 2011 - S&Mβs only week at #1 Add in We Found Love and you can get 4 Hot 100 #1βs between that and Whatβs My Name one year earlier. Rihanna was a Hot 100 powerhouse at that time. Katy also had 4 Hot 100 #1βs in a 12 month period with either California Gurls - E.T. or Teenage Dream - Last Friday Night. Usher had 4 #1s in 2004 with the singles off Confessions. Mariah Carey did it with the first 4 singles off her debut album. I'm sure the 4 singles from Whitney that went #1 did so within 12 months.

I mean if Rihanna was at her 1 album per year mentality she would be slaying these poor girls, yeah, but there's no denying that Ari can move streams impressively, much like Rih moved radio and sales.

Just got around to listening to the remix. Her pretty tone would have nestled right into this production, why did they filter and process her vocals so much? I'll stick to the original.

The remix with her was really unnecessary. This was already doing so well and has decent longevity to it. It's been around forever, it's like the 5th single from that damn album. Just let the era die

Seems like she (and her people) are just latching on to any song they can. She's going to burn out at pop very fast. One day she'll be #1, the next, she won't be able to get anything to move at radio. The burn out is real on hearing her from me.

People have been saying this for years, after she moved through two albums within 6 months and had like 7 singles in rotation on Pop radio between 2018-2019 everyone thought she was overexposed and then positions happened not long after and she got 2 more #1 singles on pop that are both still in the Top 10 right now. Whatever this fantasy is about burn out, it hasn't happened yet.

I thought I was the only one that thought the auto tune or whatever it is they used on her voice on this remix sounded annoying. But itβs pretty much speaking to a deaf choir at this point. Anything you say negative about Ariana will be ignored around these stomping grounds. With that being said, I love how the response about the remix went from βuniversal acclaimβ to now being a mixed bag just a few days later just because itβs falling off. The bandwagoning is hilarious.

I'm still loving this remix and it renewed my interest in "Save Your Tears" which burned out on me (original version) about two months ago.

And the people calling it unnecessary like it's not gonna hit #1 tomorrow thanks to the remix. The bragging rights alone made it a logical move.

Whatever this fantasy is about burn out, it hasn't happened yet. My longstanding opinion is that next to her unique voice/range, what distinguishes Ari from her peers are her musical instincts and ability to adapt her preferred βlite pop/R&Bβ style to current tastes. She felt that the public was ready for a more R&B sounding album in Positions..and she was right. She got Abel for LMH back when he was still just an indie artist. Sample βMy Favorite Thingsβ for 7 Rings? Who else wouldβve taken that risk? Sheβs like Madonna from the 80βs to the 2000βs. She just has βitβ.

I'm happy this got a remix. Anything to prolong an era in this day and age is a tick in my book.
I do think this is the last single however I wouldn't mind another.
