I'll always remember the first one as the one Michael Ray was almost included in. đ And should we have a redo of that, we can assure you that he will not even be considered as an afterthought.

Pam Tillis and her holy trinity đMaybe It Was Memphis/Shake the Sugar Tree/Spilled Perfumeđ Sad Jo Dee didn't crack the top ten but more worried who's probably next. đ I'd be fine with any placement in the top ten lol

Out of everyone that's left, I'd honestly prefer to see Trisha Yearwood miss the top 10! (Which is like such a weird thing for a '90s female stan to say! Lol)

Lol I love them both) she is still in and Faith Hill misses the Top 10, like she seems to do (not always, but) quite often in full-genre rankdowns such as this. </3

Y'all, Faith Hill is literally one of my favorite artists of all time. If I was 10-15 years older than I am, she'd be my Carrie Underwood/Taylor Swift--she's that high up in my list of favorites. Her music is incredible and songs like "Mississippi Girl" for example (speaking overall, not just in 90s terms), not to mention all of the 90s hits I've highlighted, bring with them such wonderful childhood nostalgia (Faith Hill was my mom's CU lol; she was played about as often as Reba, which is A LOT). Oh, and "Why" is just---very, very meaningful to me. I've actually grown quite attached to my current Faith Hill avatar lol, and I'm excited to compete as her on the new season of WWT40, which will begin soon!

I was listening to the Faith album today. I love "My Wild Frontier," but also the album in general.
Having said that, I think Pam Tillis' albums in the 90s are better than Faith's albums.

If only Pam had kept up said quality into the next decade! Her quality dropped off VERY quickly at the turn of the century, lol.

This is a great top 10. I think Trisha stands out as the clear #10 and Martina's talent is Top 2/3 here, but maybe should be landing around #9 (I consider the GH hits era and the early 2000s her truly dominant period, though her run in 97-99 was really strong). I can't wait to see what happens.

I am glad this Lee Ann Womack and Terri Clark have high placements on here! They are two artists that I never really got into until after a majority of their hits but I really, really like them both.
A great top 10 and I am so happy B & D is still in this thing!

Faith missing is sad because I love her but if I was ranking without my personal enjoyment of their material and just on impact and legacy she was the one I'd have cut.
I'm thrilled Terri made it as far as she did! I knew she wasn't making the top 10 and probably didn't truly deserve it based on stats but I was hoping for her to sneak in!
