Hopefully the highly anticipated "Oh Santa" remix with Ariana Grande and Jennifer Hudson might help to shift the momentum to another Mariah song this time, even if briefly.

Bad Bunny is probably the biggest crossover success since Shakira among all Latin acts. Impressive.

I'm actually so happy that the biggest latin crossover artist in the US also happens to be the one that produces the best music.

We're now being reminded what a real crossover looks like. It's not a Scientology-like cult that is being shoved down our throats, aided by incredibly shady tactics & flawed Billboard formula that is positioned like we're still in late 2000s.

Iβm not really excited to watch AIWFCIY rise this year now that itβs already achieved the ultimate feat. If anything now Iβll be annoyed if it gets #1 again Well then I'd suggest logging out for the next month.

Good for Bad Bunny. He's one of the few reggaeton artists I enjoy.
Also, can we get a new xmas #1?

For the Porkyheads: "Space Legend" is down to #72, so it dropped 60 spots.
I'm delighted to see so many Christmas tracks gaining new traction this year, but where is Britney Spears' "My Only Wish (This Year)"?

Bad Bunny is probably the biggest crossover success since Shakira among all Latin acts. Impressive. Don't forget about Enrique Iglesias! Although the argument can be made that he doesn't count due to him being a Spaniard.

Oh my God, I can't believe people actually remembered *NSYNC had Christmas songs. I thought my sister was the only one in the world who played that during Christmas season. Well, the album where it came from is certified 2x platinum. So, it must have sold pretty decently in its day. And the song itself peaked at #37 in Pop Songs. That said, I don't think it will manage to chart in the Holiday 100 this season.

He certainly had a moment where radio was huge for him ("I Like It", "Tonight", etc...) but I don't f feel like he ever dominated the conversation like Bad Bunny or Shakira before him. In Latin America of course he's huge and Bad Bunny has some catching up to do still.

Looks like Miley can't catch a break. Plastic hearts might make 50k (25k sps) tops, same as her last effort.

dremolus - solarpunk In the future, could you please separate the Christmas songs from the non-Christmas songs in the βOtherβ category? It would help to know what the upper echelon of Spotify would look like if the Christmas songs werenβt there.

RE: Miley - Let's be real, as much as we're stanning the music, the numbers haven't been there for her since 2013. Yeah. Miley's definitely one of the artists where it seems like her name causes more news than any of her music so whenever she does release music it usually doesn't do anything. Even during the Bangerz era, pretty much anything after Wrecking Ball underperformed or flopped. And since then her next two albums didn't rake in any interest either: Dead Petz was a disaster and Younger Now didn't do that much either - Malibu might've hit the Top 10 but it didn't even have 20 weeks during it's run. Just last year: SHE IS COMING didn't make much of an impact, and both Swept Away and the Charlie's Angels song flopped. The closest she's had to a hit in recent years besides Malibu were Nothing Breaks Like a Heart and Midnight Sky.

He had "Bailamos," "Be With You," "Escape," "Hero," etc. He actually had a long run of hits; 7-8 top 10s, and a lot more top 40s. That's a lot more than Shakira, though technically he crossed over first so "since Shakira" wouldn't necessarily include him.

Yeah, "All I Want..." indeed is too powerful. It transcends far beyond the core fan base. "Oh Santa" is cute, though it's not in the former's league by any means. I'd think Ariana Grande and Jennifer Hudson serve more as backing singers for this latest version, based on the still image.
