Damn, the world as a whole is starting to really consume Christmas at a large scale, 17M is huge!
For example, Christmas doubled here in Portugal: 122k this year on Christmas Eve vs 65k last year. Damn!*

Xmas Eve is the "main day" in most countries, so that is probably the global peak this year. This plus it's already Dec 26 in Australia/NZ, although I don't know the cut-offs work with the time zones. |

For the 1/9/21 chart (i.e. the new thread) it will have Christmas Day for streaming and sales, and tomorrow tends to at least have some streams for it. It will have no days of good airplay since this Monday will be start the airplay week for that chart. |

Quite a change for the weekly US Spotify chart this year where the top 40 are all holiday songs. Last year, for the comparable week, only four songs out of the top 10 were holiday songs and 21 out of the top 40.

Durk literally had 0 ( zero) top 40 songs on Billboard before Drake, and now suddenly he occupies the entire top 10 on AM. What. the f**k? That's what a Drake song will do for you, honestly. {Spoiler}{Spoiler}He did have a song debut at #43 earlier on in the summer (which was the highest debut of that week), so he was close to getting a Top 40 hit, in a sense. |

^555m is insane! Spotify is launching in Sout Korea and it continues to grow in eastern europe, especially Russia, so I'm expecting numbers to continue to rise, especially if the routines are back to normal as the pandemic effect decreases.
