From what I've previously read, there are rumours that Ed intends to return to his "Plus" roots with this new project, so I'm hopeful it should be getting more positive reception around here.
Not gonna lie, I'm looking forward to see what he has to offer this time.

Kendrick is headlining Lollapalooza. Adele is rumored to perform at the Grammys. Any news on Rihanna?

Sheβs been in her L.A studio with Pharrell and Kuk Harrell everyday for the past week (thereβs pics. of her coming & going), albeit yesterday she flew to Barbados for the holiday. Thus far, thatβs it. SN: I hope βLollapoloozaβ isnβt cancelled, though I wouldnβt be surprised.

2021 is already worse than 2020. it's like 2017 all over again. Remember when Ed released "Shape of You" & "Castle on the Hill" on January 2017?

I wonder if he'll wait for evermore to rack up a few more weeks at number one if she has them in her as a way to both give the single time to breathe and as a courtesy to his friend since apparently artist are doing this all the time without gp even knowing.
Gonna give Ed a chance regardless, I'm sure I won't have to since I'll have heard it 50 times before Christmas Day not of my own accord but still hoping its a genuinely good song and album I know he can make them.

This will definitely be not like his last project, which was his worst album.

he really is the male taylor i think this is a very fair comparison but also i think taylor pulled off her pop pivot much more successfully Ed explored pop music in Multiply but elements of his previous album, Plus, were still present. Divide was a full ignition towards pop music and No.6 Collaborations was his failed experiment. "Subtract" is rumored to be a return to his roots as a heavily folk album but there might be few twists and enhancements that'll seem different from his first record.

Was No.6 failed? I guess as an album it didnβt do swell but the singles did. But yeah, Iβd say Divide was his real full-on pop transition. I think Multiple was a happy medium between pop and the acoustic sounds of Plus. Iβd love for him to go back to something like that - Iβm not sure if he will but I think the musical landscape would be more welcoming of that sound now than it was when he first broke out.

Does All Time Low ft. Bb & demi lovato- monsters has any chance of entering hot100? It's getting heavy radio push after that remix Crazy that after many years being kinda popular, a pop-punk band from 2006-2007 wave are finally getting a hit.

Definitely not a fail. It has 4b streams and I donβt care is still gaining near 1m a day. People donβt want collabs from Ed sheeran and it still did really well. His demand is in solo songs under the math symbol umbrella

Nothing can quite beat the feeling that song gave me while driving back home at night from my family vacation. Good times.
