With "Potential Breakup Song" performing the way it is, could we be looking at a new rising trend, of bringing back old music? Christmas staples get bigger and bigger each year, "Dreams" had a huge resurgence thanks to Tik Tok, and Taylor Swift is on the verge of rerealing her catalogue. I can see "Love Story" becoming a hit again, maybe even #1, if she promotes it right. Wouldn't that be something? I'm all for bringing back old music. Imagine getting some chart justice for old, iconic hits? Isn't this already a trend? In addition to what you mentioned, "My Boo" re-charted a few years ago. Mariah's "Obsessed" got a TikTok boost that helped it get a new cert of 3x platinum.

The Aly and AJ track is a rerecording/remake. Not a lot of acts are gonna put in the studio time to do that, except Taylor for contractual issues and Mariah rerecording her Xmas stuff every year.

#StreamLevitating. Doesn't matter if it's the original, the Dababs or the Madonns version, just stream it and get it to number one for a good 2021

Not to mention Mr. Brightside being on the charts Mr. Brightside was released in 2004 and was #12 in the 2010's decade-end chart in the UK. It's really incredible something like that could happen. I don't see why it wouldn't happen in the US one day, but I'm not sure how readily the US CHR stations would play an old song that became a hit again. Did pop/rhythmic/urban play My Boo much when it was back in the charts? The UK pop stations are/were a bit more receptive. For example when Don't Stop Believin ended up in the charts again in the UK in 2010, after it spent a few weeks in the top 10 it started shooting up the radio charts, and even the pop stations that play recent chart hits were playing it, and that helped it become really a proper full-fledged hit again. I feel like if a Keith Sweat or Pet Shop Boys song became a hit again the pop stations might more-or-less ignore it, which would hurt the chances of it happening properly.

The Global charts are really the only place where this'll happen regularly since it doesn't take into account airplay and there are no rules for cut-offs.

Are BTS stans just rich Also has anyone figured out the rules of the word “ARMY” in relation to grammar It’s used as a both collective and countable noun and as an adjective...like Lmaoooooo thank you for saying this. How is your fanbase “the ARMY” but each member is “an ARMY” and a handful of those members are “some ARMYs” ... MAKE IT MAKE SENSE
