Just when Levitating is starting to pick up steam, it looks like her team is gonna push Hallucinate in the US now too. Hi I just want to clarify that this is not true. The song has been listed under Cool New Music on AllAccess, that's it. They likely did this because it looks like the song might enter the top 50 on pop on its own, this will allow more stations to have access to it if they want to play it. This is not an official single in the U.S. as of right now. |

rena- think once tracking for a new chart week starts, the chart two weeks prior gets closed? I've noticed as much prior. Thanks for posting that bit of info about Wham!; great "first" for it to achieve this season (top 10 Hot 100/No. 1 UK), and that that both it and "All I Want..." reached their ultimate due in the UK. By the way- what was Andrew Ridgeley's role in '"Last Christmas"? Did he do any instrumentation/background vocals? I'm pretty sure my man just made Michael jealous in the music video. If I remember correctly, he didn't really do much in the duo, up to, ironically enough, "Careless Whisper". A song which in many regions was marketed solely as a George Michael track. |

Well, massive relative to the weak charts right. In other time periods those daily totals wouldn't have been enough to hold them so high for the week. |

How is WAP on its way to Diamond when it was certified 3x Platinum just a month ago, and is already by far peaked on streaming?
Life Is Good's video streaming is definitely algorithm-based, but it was a monster in audio streaming too seeing as its the fourth most audio streamed song of 2020 behind The Box/Blinding Lights/Rockstar. Far from a false hit or some sort.

The 6.5M figure people keep posting is really inaccurate. As of Dec. 31: ~303K song sales ~495M audio ~240M official video (323M YouTube audio + video streams, including "song UGC"); Nielsen counts about 170M of these (+other video stream sources). Their year-end report comes out soon so we will see the actual numbers soon. |

Someone else literally explained it’s not on its way to Diamond at the moment and there is falsely inflated figures that keep being used for the song lmao. It’s at 5 million RIAA units and has already peaked months ago. You expect it do another 5 million in 2021? An average of 100k units every single week for the entire year when it’s not even doing 100k weekly units anymore at this point in January. It’s not crossing Diamond for multiple years if it does end up doing so. |

And wap is still doing well on streaming services, better than most recent #1s. |
