As much as I would love for Mid Laroi to only have one hit, given the push emo rap right now and his forced image as the next Juice WRLD I sadly don't think he's going away any time soon. Guys he's just 17 & his music isn't that bad, there's a lotta time for him to grow, chill Most 17 year-olds don't have budget or network Laroi does. I'm not saying he can't grow or make good music - Post was able to improve immensely - but I don't think we need to be generous or forgiving either, especially with how much industry support he's gotten through 2020 including releasing his debut album.

Btw I don't think WITHOUT YOU being Top 10 hits in the UK and Australia means he's bigger in there than in the states. ROCKSTAR went to the top in other countries before the U.S. and DaBaby is still bigger in America. Besides, Laroi still had more charting songs on the U.S. thanks to the release of the deluxe version of his album

New peak for You're Mines Still despite the Morgan Wallen album bomb? Nice! I wonder if it can peak in the top 40. Also, the Jan. 23 chart week is obviously Laugh Now Cry Later's last week in the top 10. Guess we're due for another Drake single.

If it doesn't go top 40, hopefully it peaks at 43 or 46 I'm fairly confident that it'll peak in the top 40. Some Morgan Wallen songs, along with a couple others, will drop next week. Even if it doesn't gain in any metrics next week and only remains stable, it'll rise as a result.

Looks like Happy Anywhere, Pretty Heart, Watermelon Sugar, and B.S. will be gone for good this week. WAP is right on the edge as well.

Here's an interesting update BabyYoda forgot to mention:
93. (-13) Shawn Mendes & Justin Bieber - Monster (-2.54)
Really surprised about this underperformance, especially given the names attached. I guess even radio had enough of Bieber releases. And poor Shawn - if this collab doesn't go anywhere, I can't see him getting an actual hit this era.

If you've been following the era it's not really that surprising. Everything has been an underperformance. Even the film got bad reviews.

Midnight Sky is literally hanging on for dear life. This is its 20th week, so expect it to be gone next week regardless of Morgan Wallen's fading album bomb. Here's an interesting update BabyYoda forgot to mention: 93. (-13) Shawn Mendes & Justin Bieber - Monster (-2.54) Really surprised about this underperformance, especially given the names attached. I guess even radio had enough of Bieber releases. And poor Shawn - if this collab doesn't go anywhere, I can't see him getting an actual hit this era. And if Shawn struggles to stay relevant in the future, this era may be fodder for Todd's Trainwreckords series.

I don't mind that one. No yodeling.

Does anyone know why the next chart week in 1966 "The Sound Of Slience" by Simon & Garfunkel falls to 12?

The 1971-1996 charts all coincided with Super Bowl weekend (V, X, XV, XX, XXV, and XXX). Just looking at those lists brings back old Super Bowl memories!
But why is the 2001 chart one week earlier than 1996? Did we have some kind of quirk, like we did in late 2017/early 2018, when we had an addition 1/3/18 chart?

BL has lasted for so ridiculously long that it had time to burn and then un-burn on me TWICE
Iβve rooted for its demise & its survival multiple times. It may still be charting after we all die

Donβt think anyone has pointed this out yet, but tomorrow is MLK Day, a federal holiday in the US. Does this mean the chart reveal schedule gets pushed back a day?
EDIT: Didn't realize TOTC had tweeted about it until just now.
