evermore (Taylor Swift) First Impressions RD (Revealing)

Welcome to the evermore First Impressions Rankdown!

On December 10, 2020, Taylor Swift made an announcement that shook us music fans. For the second time in 2020, Taylor Swift came to save the year announced a surprise album that was going to drop the next day. evermore, Taylor's 9th studio album which she called folklore's sister record, brought another 15 songs (17 if you include the deluxe tracks) to indulge in. The album has so far spent 3 weeks at #1 on the Billboard 200 and the lead single "willow" managed to debut at #1 on the Billboard Hot 100 (to much controversy in the Hot 100 threads), making her the first artist to manage simultaneous #1 debuts on the Hot 100 and Billboard 200 twice. Then "willow" set the record for the farthest fall from the #1 spot but we don't talk about that. More singles were shipped to country and AAA formats, "no body, no crime" featuring HAIM and "coney island" featuring The National respectively.

Returning from the folklore first impression rankdown is my lovely co-hosts, born and taylor ! What more iconic trio to host this can we think of, Pulse's 2020 Poster of the Year, Sexiest Poster of the Year, and All-Star? Please welcome them with a round of applause. Shoutout to Jim especially who designed the header image you are seeing right now! Without further ado, here is the song list. This time we WILL be ranking the deluxe tracks since they are out on streaming platforms already.

If you only send to one or two of us, we'll do the best we can to include you in the final results, but if we miss your list because you didn't follow directions, it's your fault and we would like to be excluded from the narrative.
3. The album is available for listening on various streaming platforms (Spotify, Apple Music, YouTube etc.) and iTunes. Feel free to choose whatever suits you best!
4. Anyone is free to send a list even if you aren't tagged. If you would like to be tagged/excluded from the tag list, please let us know so we can do that for you.
5. If you have any questions, feel free to ask in-thread or via PM to one of us and we will answer them!
6. We'll set the due date on February 5 (Friday), a little longer than the three-week deadline we had for the folklore. With all the year-end rankdowns going on right now, we'll give you slightly more time, but it is 17 tracks so it shouldn't take you a super long time!
7. We'll tag you for each reveal when they come around, so after you submit, sit back and enjoy the results (and maybe comment too if you wish)!

Hey, I am new to this sites rates so what are the scoring rules? Do all of the scores have to be in the range of 0-10 or can we give one single track an 11. Also how do you feel about comments (meaning can we add our opinion about the tracks?). Also how do you feel about decimals (can we use 9.5, 8.5 etc)

Very glad you asked that! This game is a rankdown as opposed to a ratedown so we will be ranking the songs (putting them in order of preference)! All you have to do is rank the songs with #1 being your favorite and #17 being your least favorite. Then, create a PM with all three of the hosts (@/fearlessarrow, @/jimswift13 & @/carrie) and send us your list!
