1. 1989 2. Red 3. Speak Now 4. Lover 5. Reputation 6. Fearless 7. Taylor Swift 8. Evermore 9. Folklore
I like pop Taylor the most, followed by country Taylor, and I least like folk Taylor.

She hasn't dropped a bad album yet (although I have no use for a good chunk of evermore).

1. Speak Now 2. Reputation 3. Lover 4. 1989 5. Fearless 6. Taylor Swift 7. evermore 8. Red
9. folklore
folklore was her only album that I thought was terrible. Red was weak in some parts but was a decent album.

1989 & folklore are the clear Top 2. Swift fans fucking adore Red and itβs often hailed as her best effort, but itβs not very cohesive (in a bad way) and a bit long (once again, in a bad way).
Folklore is a long record, but keeps you enthralled the whole time, whether it be through storytelling or harmonies or production. It may occasionally lull, but it doesnβt actively grate (βStay Stay Stayβ lol). 1989 is concise. It didnβt have to be a big record. The length is good, and every song feels connected to one another. Even the bonus cuts are good, like βYou Are In Loveβ.
I donβt have particularly strong feelings towards the rest of her work, as Iβm biased towards her recent pop-leaning material. I donβt think I could fairly rank Speak Now or Fearless, for example. I just know reputation is much better than Lover.

I'm not sure about best, but Red, reputation and folklore are my top favorites.

Honestly, Iβd pick Lover if you cut out the 4 worst songs (The Man, London Boy, You Need to Calm Down and Me). Which would still leave the album at 14 songs and with a cohesive narrative. If you include those...probably Folklore, although Speak Now and 1989 both make it close

Iβve only heard 1989, and the last three (and I listened to Red once). I always say, I only really care about Taylor from Lover onwards. I donβt know what it was but Loved completely captured me. I might even place it in my top 10 albums of all time. I listened to it again the other day and itβs still such a breath of fresh air. I think it was just an album I needed at a very particular time for me. I donβt think itβs in any way groundbreaking or fantastic, I just love it. Folklore (and to a lesser extent evermore) to me enter almost into groundbreaking territory. I think they made Taylor 10x more interesting as an artist.
I basically pretend everything pre-Lover doesnβt exist but the 1-2-3 of those last three albums might be one of my favourite album trilogies ever.

Lover is truly underrated (and the last two are overrated, but don't @ me).
