I find this recent strategy of 'rereleasing' with a whole album's worth of songs to be...suspect.
12 songs here.
16 for Eminem.
15 for Smoke.
14 for Uzi.
Meanwhile queens blackpink over there coming out with 8 tracks and calling that a full length album.

Outside of Lil Durk, that Brent Faiyaz/Tyler the Creator song seems to be doing pretty well. It's currently at #30 on AM, and #12 if you exclude all the Lil Durk songs.

Spotify US top 10 (22-01-2021) Spotify US top 10 (29-01-2021) It seems that outside the Morgan Wallen album bomb, drivers license putting up incredible figures since it's release, Good Days, Streets and Save Your Tears either rising or remaining somewhat stable, streaming in the US hasn't improved from last year when COVID hit. Some older songs have gained about 50-100K streams since the holidays but it's interesting to me that all those people came out to stream like crazy during Christmas and now they've pretty much gone back to their listening habits before December. Maybe January is just a slow month but if this carries on, 2021 will be the lowest year streaming-wise since probably 2016.

This probably goes without saying but I'm very impressed by Morgan Wallen's stability. It's been 3 weeks since he released his album and many songs off it are still hanging in there. Him and Luke Combs breaking out as streaming forces in the past year has been one of the more eventful things to happen in the music industry. Now we just need some female country singers to do the same.
