"Adore You" and "Circles" as extras reminded me of a recent Facebook discussion I had about when there was no such thing as recurrents. Radio would play a hit for a couple of months and it would be gone. Very different today. Even after long chart runs on AT40, songs still get played.

I expect a massive purge in the next few weeks as there have only been a dozen debuts all year. There are a ton of contenders om mediabase that are pretty much sure shots to debut in the next few weeks. i agree Daisy is done but all the other breakouts and on the verge should get in. Additionally, My Head & My Heart, Lifestyles, Without you ,Talk about love and Skin are pretty much sure shots. Also think Star (Loona) and b.s. (Madison Beer) have a real good shot. not sure about Blueberry Eyes it's been creeping up the charts for a while could be a breakout but would be surprised if it hit the top 40

Meanwhile on the Hot AC version of the chart they actually played "I Don't Want To Miss A Thing" as the Rewind, so this segment might’ve been intended for the Hot AC show. On the other hand, my birthday it’s actually this coming Tuesday so it was fitting for “In Da Club” to be the Rewind on this chart.

This week, AT40 played Circles followed directly by Blinding Lights. It's almost a certainty that Circles will be the 2nd biggest hit of all time and Blinding Lights the #1 song of all time.
