Wasn't Misery a top 10 hit on Pop and Hot AC? That didn't feel like a flop.

And, to this day, I still think "Give a Little More" should have been huge. It was basically "Moves Like Jagger" before "Moves Like Jagger", but for some reason radio didn't want to touch it.

well,it's my fault cause I considered only their hot 100 chart-run when the important thing on these threads is the radio..but still misery was not a smash hit.. maybe we can call it a moderate hit ..maroon 5 were really big back then so misery ,give a little more and never gonna leave this bed underpeformed for their standards ..but moves like Jagger made them successful again and saved their album

"Misery" was a decent hit, but the entire album campaign was on diminishing returns until "Moves Like Jagger" turned things around. I would say it was on par with something like "What lovers Do".

Adam even talked about them probably disbanding after that album before MLJ and The Voice took them to another level.

This is rising quite nicely. It reached a new peak of #40 on the Hot 100 last week.

Up to #38 on spotify (new peak), #12 on iTunes & #110 on Apple music.

Hopefully it'll continue to rise at a decent pace on radio. It has a nice spring/summer transition vibe to it. A discount on iTunes and maybe a performance or two would be a good idea.

It's not that high on Spotify. It's #39 in the US (while #15 on TTH). It's yet to debut on Billboard's overall Streaming chart too. It's doing worse than "Cold", which was considered an underperformance for them back then. It's just that Nobody's Love and the Derulo collab tanked so this one's performance looks better in comparison. Its radio treatment matches its streaming run so far.

"Misery" hit num.14 on the Hot 100 and was num.62 for the year.
It hit num.8 at pop radio, num.1 at HAC and num.9 at AC.
I would say it was a moderate hit. Certainly not a flop.
"Misery" came before "Moves Like Jagger" It followed 2 huge underperformers.
So it's peak was actually pretty good for that specific time I believe.

Even "Never Gonna Leave This Bed" was a moderate hit tbh. It charted for 18 weeks, which is pretty impressive for a #55-peaking song.

Give a Little More (and Feelings) tho 💀. Give a Little More really deserved better tbh
