she's insane for this but I did do surprisingly well myself trying to play along, as well, considering I'm not big on s/t & Fearless. very fun challenge.

new extended clip of "Wildest Dreams (Taylor's Version)": Wow; that’s incredible. Vocally, even with “Wildest Dreams” I hear differences. They’re much more subtle than the differences on Fearless (TV), but they’re there. I can’t wait to have the rest of her re-recorded albums, ugh!

Wow, what caused the massive uprise of Love Story TV on Apple? It's skyrocketed back to #39.

Taylor Tweet:
"Hey guys so who’s gonna tell 18 year old me that our love story would still be going strong all these years later? Pleading face Thanks for the ways you fill my life with love 24/7, every damn day. Happy Valentines Day Yellow heart Yellow heart"
That (24/7), am I delusional or is that a easter egg of when she is announcing or releasing her next album: aka the trilogy album to join Folklore/Evermore; or maybe the next re-recording? The British date format is [day first, then month]. Also her tweet about being in studio recording the next one; she didnt say Re-recording. So I'm tempted to think its her next new album? Lol wouldn't it be funny if she drops a song or album on June 24th called "the next one"?

7 is July, not June, and July 24th is on a Saturday. But I'm 99.9% positive that she was justing using 24/7 to mean 24 hours a day, 7 days a week and there isn't some secret meaning behind it.

Folklore is the gift that keeps giving. Taylor is the Top Billboard 200 Artist and Top Female Artist. She just doesn’t stop the dominance...

The old version of Fearless is continuing to decline. As has been previously mentioned in this thread, the bulk of the activity is from LS and YBWM, presumably because they still have decent playlisting. Here are some stats:
Billboard has reported total units every week since the release of Fearless TV. I wish they wouldn't round so much, but oh well. Week 1: 6k Weeks 2-5: 5k Week 6: 4.5k (Last Week)
Spotify Global - I had previously posted this list but have added the last several weeks: 10/29/20: 7,664,981 11/5/20: 7,314,653 11/12/20: 7,360,956 11/19/20: 7,362,564 11/26/20: 7,371,599 12/3/20: 7,179,829 12/10/20: 7,511,185 12/17/20: 8,120,499 12/24/20: 7,352,111 12/31/20: 6,907,394 1/7/21: 7,221,418 1/14/21: 7,897,386 1/21/21: 7,882,866 1/28/21: 7,889,123 2/4/21: 8,074,169 2/11/21: 10,005,167 2/18/21: 15,859,096 (Love Story TV release) 2/25/21: 10,450,702 3/4/21: 9,547,245 3/11/21: 8,734,597 3/18/21: 8,832,410 3/25/21: 8,885,750 4/1/21: 9,192,280 4/8/21: 11,070,602 4/15/21: 9,372,444 (Fearless TV release) 4/22/21: 7,441,327 4/29/21: 6,942,260 5/6/21: 6,643,468 5/13/21: 6,480,009 5/20/21: 6,341,482 5/27/21: This week isn't over, but already streams have fallen by 224,829 compared to last week.
Apple Music US: I've checked the country albums chart on AM US just about every day, and for the past few weeks, Fearless has been below the debut. It's currently at #55 while debut is at #44. Previously debut was always lower.

If she insists on releasing these Fearless (TV) EPs to help with Spotify metrics, can she please release a Pop Mix EP. The pop mixes of her singles was one of the main reasons she caught the attention of the international and pop audience. It shouldn't take too much effort and is an easy to help her compete with the original versions.
Also, ever since she started re-releasing, I've been going back and listening to the albums from Reputation onward since I sort of stopped following her as an artist after 1989. As of now, Reputation and Lover are okay, outside of a few tracks, I don't see myself re-visiting the albums often. Although Reputation has fantastic production. Folklore is a true achievement, a lyrically and sonically rich album. August has got to be one of my favorite tracks of hers ever. Evermore is okay, but didn't quite capture the magic of Folklore. I think it should have just been an EP. Willow and its remixes are fantastic, especially the Elvira remix. After she re-releases all of her old albums, she should consider releasing an Elvira remix album.

I think all of Taylor's versions are guaranteed to eat into the original's streams because of Swifties who will refuse to stream the originals and because even casual fans will sometimes search for a song or album and choose Taylor's version. However, I think her albums that are the most single-driven will be least affected because the original singles will still get heavy play listing. So my prediction is that the original 1989 will be hurt the least by Taylor's version and something like Speak Now original, which doesn't have any huge streaming hits but still gets love from the fandom, will be hurt the most. This is just my prediction though.

Looks like she might be pushing for evermore to return to #1 this week. Vinyls have shipped and are available in-store, signed CDs shipped, and digital copies are discounted to $6.99.

I think she is pushing for #1, but she's got some tough competition in Olivia. It seems with vinyls, signed CDs, and a digital discount that she will easily get over 100k but I think Olivia will too. Either way a Taylivia top 2 will be truly iconic, mother and daughter ruling the album charts.

Wait, do the singles from "Red" not have good playlisting? I'm fairly certain I've seen "I Knew You Were Trouble" around, especially on 2010s throwbacks.

Maybe but I think it's more about the album itself. I feel like the GP only know Fearless and 1989 and Folklore. Reputation for the drama only. The rest feels kind of forgotten.

I know it's a thread where we mainly talk about the re-recordings but I feel like these are worth posting.
She just released 'evermore' on vinyl but it's still an incredible achievement. Her power when it comes to selling actual records... Insane.

the vinyl records recently being broken have been a bit gimmicky, since it's the "number of copies shipped" in a week and not "copies sold," but it's a phenomenal achievement regardless. I'm sure Taylor would have broken the record had she released & shipped the vinyl orders on week 1, anyway. sales might be dead but the vinyl resurgence has been interesting to witness.
I've seen rumors that she's gearing up for a new rollout soon, hence why she's discounted every folklore merch item on her store. Fearless (Taylor's Version): The From The Vault Chapter was the last digital push for Fearless, I think.
Since Disney's actually releasing Spirit Untamed on June 4, I'm hoping we'll get the 1989 (Taylor's Version) announcement on Thursday morning, with "Wildest Dreams" being released that very night.

I don’t get why they didn’t wait one more week to release/ship the vinyls and signed cds. It’s almost guaranteed #1 in any other week. Grrrr

Swift is allegedly going to star in David O. Russell’s upcoming movie that may tentatively be called “Canterbury Glass.” Confirmed: Honestly, kind of disappointed since DOR is an alleged abuser. Also surprised she would sign-on for something that will inevitably spur some bad, however limited, PR, especially as a survivor herself.

Well an announcement was made today, but not what everyone thought. Yet another remix of "willow"--the 90s trend remix--has been put on her website, as the 18th track on a new digital copy of evermore. There are four alternate album covers, all digitally autographed, and they are all only $4.99. These won't go international, but if you're in the US, it's very much worth the $5 (that I obviously just spent lol) in my opinion--if you're in the US, I'd buy this just for this new "willow" remix. I can't get enough of it, and frankly think it should've been the remix sent to CHR radio; it likely would've been eaten right up by listeners/programming. Between this and the vinyls, it's a big push for evermore to return to #1--what luck that she'd be unseating her "daughter" lol. By the way.....June 11, 2021 (next Friday) adds up to 13, so bookmark this post for when 1989 (TV) is announced on June 10.

Omg Forever and Always is a classic pop/rock/country Shania bop I didn’t know I needed. I listened to the original, and the new one is so much better that I don’t think I would’ve gotten into the song without Taylor’s Version.

I really wish we would have gotten some actual info on the next TV re-recording. We expect it to be 1989 out of minor clues + Spirit using the new "Wildest Dreams" but I wish we would at least get an actual single announcement.
If it's really 1989, can't wait to see what's on the vault from that era.
