- Interestingly, this is my first time hearing "MONTERO". I love seeing Lil Nas X being true to himself and the song is kind of a bop. "Jaguar" is a vibe and there are some cool instrumental choices here that I dig. This could go either way for me so I may or may not change my vote. But I ultimately like both songs.

- "Help Herself" is kind of vibey and the pacing is good. Production is solid here. Perfectly pleasant tune. "growing up is getting old" is alright as far as the instrumentals go, but I really don't like her voice that much. The song does build up a little bit towards the end, but it kind of loses me a bit getting there.

- "Imminent" was certainly interesting. I'm just not sure that it's totally my thing. "Here Comes The Sun" was pretty chill and has a nice vibe. The production is pretty cool. So yeah I can get behind this one.

Roosevelt - “Strangers” (gotportugal, #2) vs. Fawning - “You’re Not One To Cry” (Dremolus, #5)
- I like both of these! :( "Strangers" is so groovy! The bass and the keys add a really nice touch. I dig the beat a lot. "You're Not One To Cry" is also very intriguing to me, mostly because of the vocal performance. But that combined with the instrumentation gives the song a very mysterious vibe that I really like.

Lauren Auder - “Animal” (pheebs, #2) vs. Ashley McBryde - “Martha Divine” (fearlessarrow, #5)
- My inner cowboy is telling me that I have no choice but to stan "Martha Divine". Ashley McBryde is probably one of the best artists country music has to offer right now. I love the guitars on this song. Jam all around! "Animal" had an interesting mysterious vibe, but not much more outside of that, at least in my opinion.

Daughtry - “Heavy Is The Crown” (Az Paynter, #2) vs. Claire Ridgely - “All I Ever Wanted” (Au$tin, #5)
- "All I Ever Wanted" is cute, but really nothing all that exciting. I don't love "Heavy Is The Crown" as much as "World On Fire", but I really hope both of those songs are indicators of what Daughtry has in store. They work really well in this style of rock and Chris Daughtry's voice never fails to impress me. Here's to hoping for a Daughtry rock album at some point in the future!
