The LNX video is edgy just to be edgy lol. The song is a bop though. I'm still not confident it's gonna be a big hit though 🤷🏾♂️ The video is nice and I appreciate that he goes all out for his visuals but it's pretty obvious that he used some of the imagery in the video to be controversial. Not that I mind. I'm always here for anything that makes straight, white men uncomfortable. very much this lol. It's pretty great to see a gay POC... Being a gay Poc in the mainstream

I'm always here for anything that makes straight, white men uncomfortable. Straight people in general. I’m pretty sure every Christians regardless of all races would get uncomfortable by this. Not just conservatives! I imagine that, much like what happened with "WAP", many hip hop fans and artists will be uncomfortable by it, especially since Lil Nas X is challenging the hyper-masculinity and heteronormativity that's so present in the genre, and we know many rap artists are infamous for their homophobia.

I might've been wrong about Dua Lipa's team pushing Not My Problem after We're Good, they might be (and hopefully) pushing Love Again after. I honestly think you made that up. It's okay though because nobody believed you. I too think they will push Love Again next. It's already the next single in France.

Makes sense to push Love Again next, We're Good failed compared to the actual FN sounding singles and pushing for another one is a good idea. Love Again is sonically similar to Dua's other hits this past year but it's different enough where it shouldn't feel like a rehash.

I think it's safe to say that "You Say" will now go recurrent on Hot Christian Songs chart.

Ngl the Call Me By Name video was hard to watch. Not that it's bad, just VERY sexual and gay. Nothing wrong with that tho, I'm sure that gay guys don't like some videos I'd be fine with for the same reason. Hope Ben Shapiro gets heated about it so LNX can get his bag tho.

I love the new 24kGoldn album! He does the pop/rap thing very well. Yellow Lights, Company, Breath Away, Love or Lust are my new faves. Hope TikTok can pick something up in the near future. (I wish the cover was nicer though)

Not Scooby confirming he controls Spotify... Whatever it was has been deleted. Now I’m extra curious lol. A Demi stan was disappointed that "Dancing With The Devil" wasn't getting enough promotion and playlisting on streaming services, and Scooter replied with 'I'm on to it', something like that.

Rod Wave has 8 out of top ten on AM, a bit of a bomb there, as expected.

I’m really liking There She Go. Hopefully it’s a sleeper hit somehow, it’d be a shame if it took focus away from Peaches (although it doesn’t look like it will). I wanna see this one be a stable radio hit though.

I wanna see this one be a stable radio hit though. After that hot take i made earlier... i’m so surprised and glad i took a 180 and now this is my favorite JB song (so far) this decade. Basically its if Intentions actually worked and was an actual good song. This has the potential to be a big hit i really hope that this doesn’t become just another album track.

As Bruno Mars closes in on his 8th #1 hit, it's hard to believe it's been 11 years since his first #1 (Nothin on You) was climbing its way to the top:

Man, is any musician not going to bow to this stupid, wasteful blockchain fad? Gorillaz is buying in too, and you'd think Albarn would know better since Plastic Beach was literally a concept album about environmental crisis.

Man, is any musician not going to bow to this stupid, wasteful blockchain fad? I'm a fan of Jacob Collier (multi-talented musician; "Good Days" background vocalist), and he posted something on Twitter a couple weeks back saying he is in support of NFTs in concept for creators, but wants to wait until the technology is more ecologically sustainable before he can start using them. I get the feeling that's the take many in the music industry are holding for now, even if I'm hoping it's just a weird passing fad that dies relatively soon.

what are the odds to Leave the Door Open to be number one this week? or next week? Well Peaches will give it some competition so who knows if it will reach number one in the next few weeks.

I was checking on lil nas last release (holiday) and the stats were awful for The first 24 hours. Especially for AM. The song didn’t even crack the top 200 until like 3 days after. Even his iTunes #s were awful. He was only doing decent on Spotify. With that being said I don’t think his core fan base lies within the rap community at all.
CMBYN is doing a lot better when compared to holiday. I hope he takes a page out of maroon 5 book and radio payola is way to the top.
