36. The Beatles - "Yellow Submarine"I didn't give this one top 10, infact I gave it the ,lowest rank of all the Beatles songs that appeared. The chanting of Yellow Sumarine can get realy annoying, but it does have one good aspect. That the song sorta reminds me of some Modest Mouse songs. particalularly "Float On". The difference being that this one here couldn't quite stay a float. 35. Question Mark and the Mysterians - " 96 Tears"Here another classic that carries on a smooth Psychedelic Garage rock vibe. Just misses my Top 20. Good vocal delivery. Love the organs. 34. Percy Sledge - "When A Man Loves A Woman"Nice baalad. Just comes in shy of my top 40. I know Michael Bolton did a version of this, but don't get me started on him. I own his only proper Galm Metal Vinyl. 33. Lee Dorsey - "Working In A Coal Mine"The fact that Devo does a fantasic cover of this song is the reason I gave this one a #45. I never even knew this was the original. The melody gets stuck in your head and you forget who is actually singing it. You just sing along. 32. Paul Revere and the Raiders - "Kicks"Well at least you all managed to slot one of their songs in the top 40. I love this one. Gave it a #5 That's right I gave all thier songs a Top 10 slot, and I think that might have given it enuff points to go top 30. I try to picture myself a teen in this era and try to imagine what songs I would really dig, and you can't deny that this would be exactrly the type of rock music I would be cruising my hot rod to. Am I right or am I right? 31. Count Five - "Psychotic Reaction"This waaaaaaaaay toooooo early to show up reveal leaves me with only 4 would be top 10's. I can't belive the ridiculous reaction 60's Psychedelic rock is getting here. This one goes hard on guitars. You stick these guitars in that Marshall Crensahw song and I would give it top 10. This is One of my dad's favorite songs. God bless his Rock n Roll soul. I still have this '45 somewhere.

I can't believe When A Man Loves A Woman Is Out already. Wondering if that is the Michael Bolton effect of his crappy remake of Percy Sledge's masterpiece?

#30 - 11 people ranked it top 50, with 6 ranking it bottom 50. One person gave this a red buzzer - putting it in their bottom 20. 6 people felt like they were on a waterslide with this one, ranking it in the top 20 - two felt especially good about it - top 10 - one even gave this the gold medal - top 5. Five users currently have their entire top 10 left: Red, singingrulebrittania, BB 🟡, annoymous1, and samo🦕. One of you will lose a top 10. Hint: This one is for the cheerios video, it starts at the 1:40 mark.

This was one I could have definitely seen going much higher. This one has been in a Charlie Sheen film as a baseball chant, was the opener for Jon Moxley, and was recently in a Geico commercial. This one was probably just about the heaviest sounding guitar track to have gotten to the top of the US charts at that point too.

29 was ranked top 50 by almost everyone - 14 total did, 3 refused to. This one didn't have 6 people rank it top 20 like on Wild Thing, but 2 people still did - one of whom put it top 10. No bottom 20s for this one, luckily. Hint:

The song at #27 had 14 top 50 ranks, 3 were bottom 50. 5 gave it a vibrant placing of Top 20, with one uplifting it to top 10. 2 people gave it bottom 20, one was bottom 10. Hint for this is the same video for the wild thing hint, but it's the first commercial in the video, an ice cream commercial.

The lead singer died Way too soon - at only 23 (the youngest death of anyone on this Year End - and it happened in 1966 - from a mysterious death too). I definitely like the country/Garage rock style mix here.

For #24 - this is the hint. The classic film of kids killing eachother, before Hunger Games. 13 top 50 rankings (4 bottom 50) reside here, including 5 top 20s and then a whopping 4 top 10s! Someone did place it not only bottom 20 - but went the full mile and cursed it with a bottom 5 ranking.

I only have 2 rankings outside of my top 25, and they're #38 and #42. For once, Pulse, I'm actually proud of your taste!

Mostly good set for me until the hammer fell at the end. Admittedly, "You Don't Have to Say You Love Me" was the only one of my top tens that I felt was vulnerable until around the top 20, and it wound up somewhat exceeding expectations.
I just noticed how stacked this remaining group is, goodness. There's one very small outlier, but a) I knew it would last this long, and b) it's still in my top 40 lol

This really was a solid year. Three songs outside of my top 25 and they are 26, 28, and 32.
