Billboard always do audit on those sales, I heard numbers are always get smaller with soundscan database's last midweek update to final update I remember seeing that during say so and savage and others.. so this could be just normal one. not extra audit.

No but actually though... The fact that maybe 1k fans can mass buy a song to a top 10 minimum and keep on it the charts when it's dead in the other less manipulatable formats, is kinda a big problem no? This isnt a Dua thing, or a BTS thing, it's an industry thing. It happened with Bundles too.
Now that stans know 4 copies is the max per person per track, it'll be abused until billboard actually does something.

Well hate and love are similar in that they obsess over their object of focus. Im not indifferent to billboard charts in fact i want it to burn to the ground its such a useless joke of a chart. I despise the fact that bts value it so much i wish we wouldnt ever care vaout billboard You know, if you despise Billboard so much, you don't *have to* spend your money and time gaming the charts just because other stans are. You can be your own person. What a concept! But i don't. I do not spend one dollar on donation or any bs like that and i hope other armys wouldn't either i just hope a day comes where we don't focus on such a bs chart at all

Yes people donating over $50,000 from other countries is better than a few hundred people using VPNs. The mental gymnastics here are astounding. Yes cuz billboard allows it. Blame billboard if you wanna We’re trying but “Army” keep jumping in and making themselves part of the conversation. Saying things like “we’ll try other ways to get BTS high on the chart” doesn’t really help tho...

Thanks for bringing this up. Is this the biggest song of all time yet? I keep waiting for that announcement and NADA. Think it's gonna be a few years until Billboard updates the GOAT chart but according to predictions, it's been the Biggest song of all time for a few weeks now Am I the only one that finds this bizarre af? I know these kinds of charts are usually saved for anniversaries, but a 60 year old song just got toppled. Not even a blurb? lol

BB is a joke. They literally had NO reason to remove 4k sales - only 1k supposedly were from website/international sales so it still should've gone #1 Oh, and they also adjusted radio airplay to work in favor of LDTO... I'm speechless I will say that levitating deserved more

That's what I'm saying, sales need to be thrown out entirely or weighed down more. Websites sales shouldn't even count and stans shouldn't be allowed to buy 4 copies per person, it should just be 1 person per copy. They had so much time to implement something but they waited forever to do anything

The next two charts have Olivia and BTS but if airplay keeps rising I could see a random Levitating mix dropping in a few weeks. I'm sure Warner wants that #1.

www.billboard.com/articles/news/9574863/silks-sonic-leave-the-door-open-number-one-second-week-hot-100/Silk Sonic – Bruno Mars & Anderson .Paak – Returns to No. 1 on Hot 100 With 'Leave the Door Open'By Gary Trust 5/19/2021 Plus, Dua Lipa's "Levitating" hits a new No. 2 high & J. Cole's "Interlude" debuts at No. 8. "Leave the Door Open" by Silk Sonic, the duo of Bruno Mars and Anderson .Paak, rebounds from No. 2 to No. 1 for its second week atop the Billboard Hot 100 songs chart. Plus, Dua Lipa's "Levitating," featuring DaBaby, rises from No. 4 to No. 2 on the Hot 100, a new high for the song and tying Lipa's best career Hot 100 rank, and J. Cole's "Interlude" debuts at No. 8, launching as the week's most streamed song. The Hot 100 blends all-genre U.S. streaming (official audio and official video), radio airplay and sales data. For all chart news, you can follow billboard and billboardcharts on both Twitter and Instagram. The announcement of this week's Hot 100 was delayed by approximately 48 hours while Billboard and MRC Data conducted standard audits on reported data, working with data partners to recognize and resolve anomalies. "Door," released on Aftermath/Atlantic Records, first reached No. 1 on the Hot 100 dated April 17 (five weeks ago). It returns to the top as it drew 17.8 million U.S. streams (down 4%) and sold 14,200 (up 38%, helped by its placement in the iTunes Store's 69¢ Pop Hits sale) in the week ending May 13, according to MRC Data. It also attracted 87 million radio airplay audience impressions (up 8%) in the week ending May 16. The track adds a fifth week atop the Radio Songs chart, pushes 3-2 on Digital Song Sales and keeps at No. 10 on Streaming Songs. Notably, the four-week absence from No. 1 on the Hot 100 for "Door" is the longest for a song since Post Malone's "Circles" waited four frames between its second and third weeks on top on the charts dated Dec. 7, 2019, and Jan. 11, 2020. The two tracks' breaks between weeks at No. 1 mark the longest since Taylor Swift's "Shake It Off" reigned for two weeks and then spent eight frames at No. 2 (below Meghan Trainor's "All About That Bass") before returning for two more weeks on top in September-November 2014. "Door" concurrently leads Hot R&B Songs for an eighth week and Hot R&B/Hip-Hop Songs for a fourth frame; the latter two charts use the same methodology as the Hot 100. Dua Lipa's "Levitating," featuring DaBaby, elevates from No. 4 to No. 2 on the Hot 100, a new best rank for the song and matching Lipa's best career placement on the chart. She previously reached a No. 2 high with "Don't Start Now" in March 2020. "Levitating" landed 21.9 million U.S. streams (up less than 1%) and sold 19,900 (up 83%) in the week ending May 13, the latter total good for the Hot 100's top Sales Gainer nod. It also attracted 59.7 million radio airplay audience impressions (up 18%) in the week ending May 16. All three sums mark the highest weekly totals yet for the song. The track climbs from No. 2 to No. 1 on Digital Song Sales, where it becomes the first leader for both Lipa and DaBaby. It holds at its No. 4 high on Radio Songs and lifts 6-5 for its first week in the top five on Streaming Songs. Multiple gains in the latest tracking week, following those in recent weeks, helped "Levitating" ascend again, including a half-dozen versions of the song all being discounted to 69 cents in the iTunes Store (with the DaBaby version included in the 69¢ Pop Hits special). The song was originally released, in solo form, on Lipa's second LP, Future Nostalgia, in March 2020; its DaBaby remix arrived in October. (All versions of the song are combined for the Hot 100.) Lipa and DaBaby performed "Levitating" during the Grammy Awards March 14, as part of a medley with "Don't Start Now," and the song has also surged as a soundtrack to numerous TikTok clips over the last month. Meanwhile, "Levitating" has experienced an atypical resurgence at radio. It hit a prior weekly high of 55.5 million in audience as reflected on the Radio Songs chart dated Feb. 13 and then steadily descended to 31.2 million (April 3). This week, with its new high of 59.7 million, the song boasts its seventh consecutive week since with an audience gain. Leading the way at radio, it returns to its No. 4 high on the mainstream top 40-based Pop Airplay chart, which it had previously reached in January, with Greatest Gainer honors. Justin Bieber's fellow former Hot 100 leader "Peaches," featuring Daniel Caesar and Giveon, keeps at No. 3. The song receives the Hot 100's top Airplay Gainer award for a seventh consecutive week (up 14% to 80.6 million), tying Olivia Rodrigo's "Drivers License" (January-March) for the longest streak since Pharrell's "Happy" claimed the honor for eight straight weeks in February-March 2014. "Peaches" also becomes Bieber's eighth No. 1 on Pop Airplay, and the first each for Caesar and Giveon. The Weeknd and Ariana Grande's "Save Your Tears" falls to No. 4 on the Hot 100 after two weeks at No. 1; Doja Cat's "Kiss Me More," featuring SZA, holds at its No. 5 high; Masked Wolf's "Astronaut in the Ocean" rises 7-6 for a new best, as it notches its first week at No. 1 on the multi-metric Hot Rap Songs chart; and Polo G's "Rapstar" descends 6-7 on the Hot 100 after arriving and spending its first two weeks on the chart at No. 1. J. Cole's "Interlude" bounds onto the Hot 100 at No. 8, fueled by its No. 1 entrance on Streaming Songs with 26.6 million streams, following its May 7 release. The song marks his sixth Hot 100 top 10 and fifth to debut in the region, as well as his first Streaming Songs leader. "Interlude" is from J. Cole's sixth studio album The Off-Season, released Friday (May 14) and due on next week's Billboard charts (dated May 29). The Kid LAROI and Miley Cyrus' "Without You" slips to No. 9 from its No. 8 Hot 100 high, as it tallies a second week each atop the multi-metric Hot Rock & Alternative Songs and Hot Alternative Songs charts. Rounding out the Hot 100's top 10, Lil Nas X's former No. 1 "Montero (Call Me by Your Name)" dips 9-10.

Billboard is the one who did a random audit for 4k sales when the website sales were only 1k for a fanbase boosting 10 points meanwhile a boyband next week has 50k lined up for mass buying I think its vpn cuz bts sales are mass buyed sure but army are smart enough to not use vpn. When army did use vpn with a ost for a bts member (sweet night) it got removed. No one in 2021 is dumb enough to use a VPN. Everyone learns from each other. BTS fans are no smarter lmao pls

Well yes i do that and my family loves bts. Unfortunately a direct consequence of that would be them falling into sheep mindset of wanting a billboard no 1 . Ah i wish people would just stop caring about Billboard joke100

What is wrong with her singles performance this era… ? Therefore I Am only got so many weeks in the top 20 because of strong airplay but it got muscled out on streaming relatively quickly. Maybe she's just an album seller.

The predicted sales for a lot of songs was actually lower than expected compared to the estimates that were originally made. Levitating just had a few thousand copies more thrown out which is unfortunate. Does this mean they're gonna be doing audits every week now? Bc it's kind've hypocritical for them to allow 1m website sales from BTS and do this to dua when there is very clear fraud happening there as well. They need to do the OBVIOUS thing and make it 1 purchase per card. How is 4 purchases per card allowed? What person would need to buy a song 4 times?

Genuine question for the Army, what are these donations for? As far as I can tell, mostly just to brag about being so charitable. Probably as a way of feeling better after wasting money on 36 copies of a song including multiple instrumental versions or something.

From that billboard article someone posted:
So the sales were filtered not due to a special audit to sabotage Dua. There was no new rule implemented. The normal audit they do caught bogus sales and it took them 2 days to sort it out. That has absolutely nothing to do with BTS or their fans.

I’m just happy that they cracked down on it, now can y’all stop buy multiple copies of a song? Like fr y’all are like some slaves to capitalism or something.
