EXTRA: "Alice" (single mix w/ Ice-T) - Hugh Harris
I'm guessing most of you have never heard of this guy. The album version of this song (& the whole album) are on Spotify ... but it was a single mix which featured a young Ice-T that caught my ear back in 1989 & THAT version is not on Spotify (or YouTube either). I guess that makes this single a rare find.

- we have FOUR ties (at 27, 35, 38). And the highest tie is actually a 3-way tie at # 14.
- the top 34 songs all have over 100 points, while the top 4 have surpassed 200.
- only 2 points separate #1 from #2...the logjam at #14 is only 11 points away from the top 10

A couple new adds to the list - Neil Finn's second single from his 1998 debut album. This song was used in a couple different TV shows including Felicity and Sports Night. Quirky video. This was from a really solid album BTW.
For some reason Olivia Newton John's Landslide, the third single from Physical is not on Spotify anymore. Olivia's former husband Matt Lattanzi is in the video.
Gino Vanelli's Wild Horses, the first single from Big Dreamers Never Sleep also missing - at least in the original form. Hit #7 in Canada, #55 in the US. I know it's Gino Vanelli, but this song has something going for it. It's got a bit of a smoldering vibe, in follow up to Black Cars single a few years prior.
Finally from the Lost Boys soundtrack, Echo and the Bunnymen's People are Strange is MIA. Went to #29 in the UK.

A Top 10 on the AC chart & this song peaked at #35 on the Hot100 in 1985. A clear last place finish, as it is a whopping 38 points behind #49 (the largest gap between any two songs on this rankdown). At least it managed one top half ranking. Good news though, is that sometime in the past 2 months, Spotify has added this (self-titled) album to it's collection. Lannister & Power get an early PPPPP!

Congrats to Power on his PPPPP! I swear the powers-that-be at Spotify must be watching this thread, because they also recently added the fantastic Front By Front album to their offerings which includes this song & "Never Stop" along with "Headhunter" (which was previously available via a compilation album) - thank the gods! We have our first tie! Slipping down the hole, Cyndi loses the battle to another diva who actually had a Top 10 rank. From the 1988 movie Vibes, this single only climbed to #54 on the Hot100 but peaked at #8 in both Australia and New Zealand. It doesn't appear on the movie soundtrack, but it is on several of Cyndi's greatest hits collections...none that Spotify has available though. I get a PPPPP - yea me!

There's not much on the internet about this Italian/Swiss singer. He only released two singles. According to Discogs.com, this song was released in 1986 on Airwave Records and has backing vocals from Celia Swan and Connie Hyland.
