I thought “Superwoman” would make the Top 10.
“On Our Own” is so addictive. Damn it Bobby, Kenny and Kevon Edmonds!!

1-2-3-6-7-9 13-17-18-23 Like I said, nostalgia ruled my list and I won’t be surprised nor mad if my #17 wins but the WAY my family wore it out, I rarely revisit it. On one hand I feel like I unfairly underranked Superwoman, but OTOH it's admittedly the Karyn hit that I revisit the least. This! I honestly thought it was a top-10 lock though regardless.

Here & Now was my parents' first dance at their wedding and Superwoman is a masterpiece. Glove Slap, your taste in R&B sir...

Today's extra was the first charted single by this duo based in Germany. It topped the charts in Germany, Austria, Greece, and Spain. Stateside, it peaked at #3 on the soul chart and #2 on the Hot 100. It also helped them win the Grammy for Best New Artist...which was later revoked after it was revealed that the duo didn't sing a note on their first album.
Girl You Know It's True - Milli Vanilli
The real voices behind the song and the album are John Davis, Brad Howell, and Charles Shaw.
The first incarnation of this song was actually by a group from Baltimore called Numarx in 1987.

I love this...I have always loved this. Milli Vanilli are my go-to drunk music. That original version knocks too. I love the bass line and the triangle during the hook.

I'm going to enjoy my good performance for 1989 while I can because 1990 is going to be nothing short of a mess. I decided to get ahead of the curve and do my ranks for it now and there's legit not one song on that list that I don't know and at least like. Very few that I don't flat out love. This is painful.

Yeah I know a lot of people are going to be writing dissertations about why they ranked certain songs low even though they love them. I know and love all but 5.

I knew Roberta didn't have a chance to make the Top 10, but some of you did Regina and Luther dirty. They deserved better, particularly Regina.

UGH I am hating on myself for not getting around to finishing my list and submitting. I didn't know a handful of these songs and never got to listening to them and ranking them.
My top 10 would have included Can You Stand the Rain, On Our Own, Just Because, Real Love, and Me Myself & I. And sorry, but I would have had Surface songs in the lower half.

Time to break into the Top 10! We start with a #1 loss. Thirteen others will also lose a Top 10, and two of you will lose a bottom 10.

At least it made top 10; I wasn't certain it was even going to make top 15 (That bottom 2 is......a choice )
