They are performing tonight at BBMAs. Then At Stephen Colbert and then on Good Morning America Summer concert. So GP will soon hear it. There are also some rumours of Butter being used in Samsung ads like Dynamite and Mcdonalads ads. But who knows.

Both Lil Nas X performances are really good. Even though I've cooled down on MONTERO since it's release, the performance should go down as one of the best in SNL's history. I didn't know that SNL allow lip-sync ...and he tried too hard to be controversial with the fake d*** slip at the end of Montero.imagine how tired we are... Even though I've cooled down on MONTERO since it's release, the performance should go down as one of the best in SNL's history. Why? I mean I get that we haven't seen that from LGBT+ on SNL, but apart from that angle I don't see anything particularly special/great about the performance. The majority of performers have given better vocals, and artists from Janet Jackson and more have given better choreography and such. I'm talking about talk-shows and live TV performances like SNL, not the big award show performances that have a bigger stage and budget. Performances for TV shows are routinely hampered by the small stage, audio issues, and aren't usually that interesting to watch - choreography, backgrounds, and lighting is limited given the stage obviously. Of the recent SNL performances, the only ones that I really remember being interesting was Frank Ocean purely for his vocal performance, Halsey being able to create a mural while performing Eastside was different, and Kanye's performance of BLACK SKKKNHEAD for the lighting and energy. I would put LNX among the better ones recently. Your first post said one of the best in SNL's history, it didn't clarify that to mean recently. Because sometimes it is about more than vocals and choreography in a live performance. I donโt think LNX is particularly renowned for his vocals so Iโm not sure why anyone would suddenly expect something different on that front. |

I definitely understand if you're not wowed and perhaps I was overselling the performance a tad, but I still give him major props for it. I always appreciate performances that are more than just the artist singing live. The best award/halftime shows do this but recently, there's also of artists who've gone on the Late Show with Stephen Colbert and done unorthodox performances (See: The Weeknd, Karen O, Gorillaz, Kendrick Lamar as well with his untitled series). That's why I really enjoyed LNX. Y'all can complain about it for baiting controversy all you want, he was entertaining. |

Really apologize for taking up the majority of the posts on this page but someone's argument for Olivia Rodrigo being a plant is them being on the cover of New Music Friday. I'm not denying she isn't a plant - she is a plant just like Dua and Lana, it's fine. it's really not that big a deal but whatever - but of all the playlists, not Today's Top Hits, not Pop Hits, New Music Friday? That's the playlist you use?
She just released her highly anticipated album after having two songs organically break streaming records worldwide. What are they supposed to do; not put her on the cover as one of the highly anticipated releases?

That's a lot of shady streams being taken away? Were people trying to VPN into the US to boost that stream count? Army knows how to stream. They know how streams, sales and radio works better than any fandom out there. But you know what's shady? This  In the own home country, where they just had the biggest streaming day for any act and are #1 on every korean chart. Even Bieber is higher than her in Korea. Also  BTS had more than 1M streams in India yesterday and they also #1 in all those countries. Spotify removed just enough streams so she still could be #1 on Global Spotify. She is definition of industry plant. And Spotify US? In all countries it was really big jump at least 30% difference from Dynamite. But in the US only 4.9%? It's just no realistic.  They also still didn't updated streams for Butter and it shows >1000. It's been more than a day. You know all of this is shady but since she is your precious darling and you clearly don't like BTS, you will say nothing. im sorry but yall are so annoying |

Thatโs what I was referring to. Yeah, heโs not a world class dancer or a great vocalist but one thing I get from him is authenticity and heโs using a platform heโs created to normalize gay imagery in a way I donโt remember other out gay performers have done in music. I donโt look to LNX for good dancing. Thereโs tons of other performers who excell at that and do it amazingly. And I donโt listen to him because I want great vocals. Despite all that, he delivered last nightโs performance in an honest and authentic way that heโs made his own and thatโs why I cited it as one of the best performances Iโve ever seen on SNL. |

Boy With Luv is their only GREAT single. Black Swan is pretty good. Fake Love is mediocre though, the chorus hurts my ears. It's really surprising for me how many people here thinks Boy With Luv is their greatest song. Because for me it's like Dynamite but korean. Both are fun and catchy but that's all. I would not even put the song in their top 50.
