This could potentially debut as soon as the week of 6/12 as Olivia/J. Cole/Nicki fade and an explosion of new songs take the place of all the ones that got knocked out recently. It's at #9 on the Bubbling Under this week, so it would have been relatively close to debuting without the album bomb.

Agreed. I understand why people get annoyed by remixes giving boosts to songs on the charts, but it makes sense for any artist to release remixes if there is demand from their fanbase, and BTS knows their fanbase will eat up those remixes, so why wouldn't they do it? Also this is like so crazy common that big hits get remixes (often multiple remixes) that I don't know why it's an issue anymore.

Usually by Wednesday or Thursday, we have four songs left in the top 10, maybe 5 if we're lucky, but the fact damn near the entire album still occupies the entire Top 10 is incredible. Regardless of who ends up as number one this week, SOUR's success alone is definitely a moment in chart history worth remembering.
