I would say the two rap releases are cannibalising each other a bit, but not THAT much. It also shows that features and collabos alone don't matter much if the hype and connection just isn't there. These two albums have all big rap/hip hop stars as guests: Drake, Future, Megan Thee Stallion, Cardi B, Rod Wave, DaBaby, Young Thug, Nicki Minaj, Lil Durk, Roddy Ricch, Justin Bieber, Juice Wrld, Pop Smoke etc etc.
But as far as album underperformances go, Maroon 5 is very high up there, only the singles are on Spotify charts globally.

late, but Savage Original version peaked at #14, stalled and started to fall before Beyonce Remix. No, if Pulse wants argue that One Too Many is still gaining, then by this logic, Savage Original was at its peak and still gaining when the Beyonce Remix came out. We will never really know if Savage would have gone to #1 without the remix, but it was sure headed into the Top 10, maybe Top 5. What is unfortunate for Megan is that she never really got enough credit for her #1s (people seem to give too much credit to Beyonce for Savage and Cardi for WAP). Maybe if Megan can get a 3rd #1, people will start giving her more credit. Hot100 14 - 14 - 14 STREAMING SONGS 7 - 6 - 8 ON-DEMAND STREAMING SONGS 8 - 7 - 10 DIGITAL SONG SALES 8 - 7 - 8 Spotify weekly US 4/02 5,816,607 4/09 6,024,206 4/16 5,682,361 (-341,845) 4/23 5,458,065 (-224,296) imo, it might cracked 1 week top 10 at best. and her singles around that time were "B.I.T.C.H." #31, "Girls in the Hood" #28 , "Don't Stop" #30. so...

It would be hilarious if we got a DJ-Khaled-ca.-2019-style meltdown from Migos and/or Adam if they get blocked by Polo G and Olivia on the Billboard 200. What are you talking abt? Adam5 isn't even in da picture to have a meltdown π To be fair, when Jordi was announced, I donβt think Adam was planning on competing with Polo G, Migos, and Olivia. As it stands, this would be Maroon 5βs first album not to enter the top 2 of the Billboard 200 since Songs About Jane.

so by that logic, Adele won't debut at #1, since her last #1 was in 2015/16 I mean, honestly... she has been gone *so* long I wouldn't say a #1 debut is guaranteed for her either. I take it the person was saying when it's been years since someone's dominance you can never just assume they will have the continued dominance they previously had, which is true. Adele has only had 2 smash eras herself, it's not like she has even smashed 15 different times and has some impeccable track record of always being huge. Adele is 100% guaranteed to debut #1 lol. Drake, Rihanna, Taylor, etc could all release that day and sheβd win
