It's disappointing (and obviously seems ridiculous) but I'm also kind of like "whatever" at the same time. I'm mostly just happy they pushed this as a single.

remember when "Levitating" also tanked there and then spent months at #1 on callouts later on? It's so weird. This is exactly what I thought at first. Thereβs no way this is actually last when Iβve heard this on the radio and it really sounds gorgeous. Someone (or several people in the polling) must have it out for Dua tbh.

Maybe itβs the βgoddamnsβ being removed that make the song so bad? I havenβt heard that version yet but Iβve seen people on here say itβs awful.

As long as this peaks at least at No. 9, I'm good. I'd love another No. 1, but I'd settle with it not being outpeaked by We're Good.

This go around the callouts make sense as streaming and sales really aren't that great either. For some reason this just isn't clicking all that well. Very unfortunate.

Maybe itβs the βgoddamnsβ being removed that make the song so bad? I havenβt heard that version yet but Iβve seen people on here say itβs awful. On Monday 101.3 Halifax just switched from the unedited version to the one with goddamn fully silenced. I went from feeling like Iβd never get bored of hearing it played every 2hrs to not caring as much at all whether I heard them play it. I think the album version is a near perfect pop song with the goddamn creating a powerful punch. Whereas for a lot of casual listeners the edit will seem to have something missing. It wouldnβt surprise me if the low call outs correlated with the radio edit

The βgod damnβs are so satisfying, my best friend is obsessed w this song (and she doesnβt even like Dua very much) but laughed the first time she heard the radio editβ¦

Itβs kind of on her team to not expect that though. They should have released a version with something like βoh damnβ or something for radio.

I mean those callouts seem a little ridiculous but I'm happy they even pushed another single at all. Hopefully those callouts don't kill it, I'd like top ten 10 on here and top 40 on the Hot 100.

Or followed the βhot damnβ route "Oh, man" "Oh, God" "My God" "Hey now" "Look now" "My, my" Like, there's a bunch of options... It's a surprising misstep for her team.

I feel like this album has run out of its momentum. It was a great era for her and I'm ready to move on.

Unfortunately these callout scores are to blame for this decline, This really does suck in every sense of the word and I would have been fine with this song eking out a Top 10 peak.

#11 is kinda painful but it's quite decent for such an old song.
I'm ready for a new era later this year.

She's been everywhere for nearly two years now (solo and features). Don't get me wrong, I love her but I think going away for awhile will limit any overexposure risk.

True but once "Levitating" dies she'll probably be fine after a few months. "Love Again" was the biggest hit out of "Demeanor", "Cold Heart" and LA, and it was still a very modest performer, so a lot of people are probably still stuck with "Levitating".
