Orlando via Philadelphia DJ Jimir "Amorphous" Davis used the art of the mash-up to help his career gain traction and struck gold when his Luther/Rihanna "Never Too Much/Kiss It Better" mix went viral. Fat Joe turned it into a single of his own and it helped Amorphous land a deal with EMPIRE who put out his Things Take Shape EP this summer. Finally (Cannot Hide It) is a 2021 update of CeCe Peniston's 1991 classic and features new ad-libs from the dance legend herself.

In spite of Timbaland fumbling the bag with her career, Illinois triple threat Tink has managed to carve out a notable career for herself independently. For those unaware, her viral freestyles caught Timbaland's ear who then signed her to a deal in 2015, released a couple singles that weren't promoted, shelved her debut album and left her locked in a contract and unable to release music (for profit) for several years.

Heat of the Moment is her ninth independent release inside of a decade and her third to actually chart on the Billboard Top 200 (#54).
