The initial pre-save link I used (from her Twitter bio) said new music would be added to my library on July 6th. Now it just says “coming soon” (which better mean by July 31st! 😤).  |

Eh, her recent bangers have been mid at best. This sound fits her like a glove. Only downside is we don’t get actually insane choreo out of this, but I’ll allow it if she keeps serving queen.

Tinashe always serves a perfect balance of bops, moods, vibes and ballads. I love the new song, just wish she released something more immediate first.
But I'm still coming from the (possibly delusional) perspective that Tinashe could still have a commercial moment. She's just that good IMO.

I'd kill for Tinashe to hopefully pull some inspiration from the experimental sounds of someone like Shygirl, hopefully the Heaven remix opened some more gateways for her. Like Tinashe on tracks like Shygirl's Firefly or Cleo would be so fire sonically.
Talk To Me Nice sonically almost harkens back to her mixtape days and I love that.

I get mixtape/Nightride callbacks from TTMN, which is just delicious, but I mostly love how she’s managed to not quite repeat herself sonically with each new era.
