Nicki is over, someone please take her phone away so she won't keep spewing anti-vaxx lies talking about doing her research ππ she didnβt research her husband so clearly research isnβt her strong suit . She later added that she is taking the vaccine and tried to make it seem that itβs unrelated to the backlash . Sadly she wonβt be over because stans will support their idols no matter how wrong theyβve been Well done Nicki. Her swollen balls Covid vaccine tweet managed to make the opening monologue of at least two late night shows.

Drake still might have four songs in the Top 10 next week, though take this with a pinch of salt since it seems like these predictions aren't from Ashres

So yeah, Iβm definitely taking this with a grain of salt until I hear otherwise.

Hope Lalisa can chart. Walker...I Hope spent a really long time charting and that peaked #16 on streaming. America's taste in which country songs to make hits is...lacking. Industry Baby will be #1 on the Hot 100 next week when the album comes out. Fancy Like is coming and will probably be a long-running #1 if the Army treats the Coldplay x BTS song like PTD.

Industry Baby deserves number 1 though, it's (currently) the best song LNX has made

I canβt see it going back there when it starts to fall on radio and its iTunes discount is removed.

I'm sure this has been asked before, but what do people think about a Hot 100 without the whole 25 rule? Since people want the most accurate charts, wouldn't the chart be more "real" if Blinding Lights or any other song that has enough points to chart in the 50's, 60's, etc, still be on the chart, even if it's been months or years?

Iβd be fine with this. At least this would have more consistency than what we currently have. If BL charts until 2050, so be it.

Recurrent rules are not for fans. Neither is the chart for that matter. It has always been about allowing more room for exposure to newer songs/artists
As a fan though I would prefer the Hot 100 being the 100 most popular regardless of age.

Recurrent rules are not for fans. Neither is the chart for that matter. It has always been about allowing more room for exposure to newer songs/artists As a fan though I would prefer the Hot 100 being the 100 most popular regardless of age. Agreed. Like the B200, it would be interesting to have a 'pure' H100. It's far more possible now because pre-BDS/iTunes/Streaming, it was difficult for singles to stay on the charts for long periods of time for two reasons. 1) Sales: Most stores only carried a limited number of singles (45, cassette, CD) and usually only an artist's currently promoted single. With iTunes/Streaming, even if the 'single' was deleted, it can still be sold/played via the album version, which counts on H100. Previously, if the single was gone, a consumer usually had to buy it via album, which only counted for B200 or, mostly likely, the Catalog chart. 2) Radio: Prior to BDS, the radio component was wildly inaccurate. Stations would submit 'playlists' to Billboard - not what songs were actually played. Theses playlist were definitely geared to current songs. Recurrent play wasn't reflected on those playlists.

I'm really excited for LNX to have a mini album bomb Peaches is going recurrent for sure. The question is what other songs will fall along with it. LNX is going to have a #1 out of all of this. Seeing how IB is gaining on iTunes and radio right now, I think this has to be the early favorite for the 10/2 chart.

I hope you're right (it'd be a shame for Butter to have blocked it), I'm just worried Stay's going to have too big of a radio advantage. I imagine it could get a second week on top of streaming, tho.

Jimmy not funny Kimmel will be havin a blast π€£π€£ considering all the fillers and injections she put in her face , breasts and butt , the vaccine should be the last of her worries Ugh. She is just so unlikable. So glad we have talented female rappers to fill her void as she fades. Sheβs super talented herself but always seemed like an awful human being.

I'm really excited for LNX to have a mini album bomb Peaches is going recurrent for sure. The question is what other songs will fall along with it. This week you literally have 21 songs from CLB above it rn. Way more that half of them will drop bellow 'Peaches'.
Let's say 13 drop bellow it (week 3 btw). That means it will be #33. LNX doesn't even have 17 songs on the album, even if he did he wouldn't debut every song in top 40.
You can't just look at the position this week, oh Peaches is #47, so 4 songs debuting in top 40 will kick it out. While ignoring every other songs performance.

Unlike LTDO, Peaches has been falling like a rock on radio. Iβm confident about LTDO surviving, but I donβt have the same confidence in Peaches. It wouldnβt take much to knock of Peaches, and I wouldnβt even fell off naturally, at this point.
