I’m not sure what a manager would bring to her career at this point. She’s signed and booked. A new manager would only be in it for her money tbh.

I’m not sure what it’s like in the US but here in Canada I’m not even hugging my mom or my sister when I see them because of covid… I was a bit surprised to see Kelly hugging guests on the show this week…

Good cover art is a rare bird in Clarkson woods. Serving Wrapped meets Already Gone.
The announcement seems rather unceremonious (blank background Instagram video), but I'm hoping the album campaign has all the pomp and circumstance of the WIR era when the time comes.
Also, I believe I wished for a sequel holiday album after the next studio one, but this suits me just GREAT too, thx.

Mama (+ atlantic) really knows how to make some extra coin. The biggest daytime TV star of the moment who spends every day in all of America's living rooms (specifically the white mom demographic, god damn) dropping a holiday album mixed with a little divorce humor and pathos? No crumbs.

My little stan tuning fork is doing its thing to make me more excited about this project than I originally was--more so out of desperation for whatever personal masterpiece I knew was coming from the 60-song explosion she wrote over the last year than not wanting more holiday music from her, which she consistently knocks out of the park. That this can be a bookend or yang to WIR's yin has me super intrigued, lowkey want her to just name the record Wrapped in Blue and run with that sadder, darker theme.
I'd love for it to be mostly originals with a few choice covers thrown in there like "River," "Wintersong," etc. Serve me MELANCHOLIA.

With this song coming out so early, do we think they have a better song to release? You usually get one shot with Christmas singles because they only get airtime for a few weeks. I’m wondering if this is just a lead-in and they plan to drop an official single, maybe also the name of the album, closer to November.

I wouldn't doubt NBC is planning to air an Xmas special. She is their #1 star outside of the big SNL folks. What are the rumors, though? Where did they come from/what's the context?
